It is my understanding that House A lord is karaka for particular event/occurence and Lords D and E are to give the results for the house B. In this analysis What is role of Lord of C? Take for instance, in the case of gemini ascendent, if one has to look for a favourable period for earnings/income, one will have to look into 11th house (house B) whose lord and that of Karaka (house A) lord is the same. Can one say Lords of D and E (saturn and Merucy (which being the ascendent lord) ought to be favourably disposed in order to predict earnings potential, increase in income etc., once again what would Lord of house C will do? But lords of B is the house itself and C indicates the results. So I suppose points can be good in A and B but less in C so the result will be there but it will not be favorable. That’s how I understand it. Now in your example, if the Sun (lord C) is extremely weak, there will be the effort of hard work but somehow the results will be poor. Perhaps I’m wrong but his seems logical to me. The house C gives the quality of the result. If any planet is powerful for house B, and also for C considering c as B, then the result will give more happiness. If you see the " GRAHSHIL CHAKRA " you will find that most of the planets are having some relation for the house B and C. Lord of House A is Karak for B house, and tenth house from A is C indicates the quality of the result. As a upchays stan they are Co-ordinators.
