Guest guest
Respected Krushna, Just a couple of clarifications please. In recent charts we have twice had to look at the death of the natives and I would like some clarification on the following points if possible. 1) I usually look first at the number of plants with more or less in the worksheet to give as rough idea of the longevity. Is this a correct technique? 2) When usuing this technique I say that if all the planets have ore points in the worksheet then the person will live to a great age probably 90+ Average Lifespan will be indicated by 4-5 planets having more points and I designate this as being from about 65 years to 75 years (5 and6 planets having more would be in the 70 to 85 years range and less than 4 planets having more points would indicate a somewhat early death. Could you tell me if the ranges quoted are reasonable or alternatively give me a more accurate range of ages for the various numbers of planets with more points. 3) Having got an age range to work on I usually then go for the first " suitable " planet with more points to narrow the range somewhat. Is this correct procedure. 4) Over the relatively few charts which I have done I have noticed that in almost all cases the planet chosen to give the event is the lord of " D " or " E " . (Obviously that actual planet is often not used in the end but one of its samdharmis is.) Tell me if I have 3 planets with say 16, 19, and 21 points but the planet with 16 points is the lord of " D " or " E " is that the planet which should be chosen even though the other 2 planets have more points? Thanking you in anticipation of your I am yours respectfully, Peter
Guest guest
Respected Peterji, Pranam, For finding Longevity, we should consider 3rd house. For 3rd house if as per worksheet, if the all planets are having more points, then we can consider long life. But along with 3rd house we should also consider 8th house. It is in reverse for 8th house. If all the planets are having good points means short life. Considering the result of 8th house, Planets with more points can give death. If all the planets are with less points, even lords of D and E are also with less points, then it may be considered as long life. If the planets which are with less points for 8th house, are having more points for 3rd house, indicates long life. If planets are having more points for 8th house and at the same time for 3rd house, those are having less points, then it indicates short life. For death, for 8th house, the lord of A (3rd house) if aspects A,B, or C, then in the main period of lord A, no death can be indicated. In such case it will be in the samdharmi planet. If the main period of samdharmi is too long, and at the same time planets have less points, means long life. Lords of D and E, ( it is immaterial how many points they have) are eager to give the result. So in the Main period of the lord of A, they can give the result. For Leo ascendent, Venus can not give death, because it is having karkatva for life and death also. (it also, lord of 10th house which is lord of A for 3rd house) 3rd house indicates life. in such case any planet situated with more point in 3rd house or samdharmi to 3rd lord can give the result in it's Main period. It will be difficult to determine life span as per the number of planets having more or less points. Only if all the planets are having less points, we can say more life. Now again the average life span is different for country to country. In India as on today it is about 64 years. So above 70 years may be treated as good life. 40 to 55 age is more prone for heart attack, and treated as short life. Some 50 years back average life in India was only 33 yrs. So if I say long life it may be more then 70 Yrs. Some body may call it medium life span. If the main period of Lord of " A " or it's samdharmi is in the late in the life, indicates long life. The life span may be assured from the main period. If the lord of A is having it's aspect on A,B.C. then it's samdharmi or the planets in 3rd house with more points should be considered. Your point 4: yes most of the results ( up to 60%) are experienced in the sub of lords of D or E or their samdharmi. This thing happens for all events. So we call, Lords of D and E are more eager to give the results. krushna --- Peter wrote: Respected Krushna, Just a couple of clarifications please. Guest guest
Respected Krushna, Thank yoou for your answer to my query. I had a quick look at it but I have printed it out so that I can study it at my leisure as it is more coplicated than I thought. The lifespan in India seems to be considerably shorter than that in the western world. I n England, and Australia the average lifespan is about 72years for women and about 2 years less for men at 70years of age. From this I would tend to give the long life as above 70 and a very long life if they reach 90years. I would suppose that medium life would be from about 55 to 65 and short if below 55. Thank you again, Peter
