Guest guest
Hello, I have some troubles in filling the worksheet. In fact, the only problem is with this line: " write down the aspects to planets in rows 52, 54, 56 and 58 from G84 - 092 " . I understand the G84-092 infos. However, when two planets are aspecting a planet in row 1, there is not enough place in rows 52, 54, 56 and 58 to wrtite two planets together. I do not understand " Planets aspecting planet in 1, planets aspecting planets in 2 " , etc (rows 52, 54, 56 and 58). Where are the 8 missing houses (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 120, 11, 12)? Thanks a lot for your explanations. In case you could send me a filled worksheet as an example, these are my birthdatas: 24 0CT 1956 11H15CET (10h15 GMT) Paris. Thanks a lot Denis -- Pour des renseignements sur les séminaires, les consultations et les cours par correspondance, ainsi que pour des logiciels et des leçons d'astrologie gratuits, visitez mon site : www.astrocours.fr.st
Guest guest
Dear Denis, I will try to clarify. Please read below your questions. Sanjay - " DENIS LABOURE " <Laboure Sunday, February 03, 2002 8:50 PM Question about automatic worksheet Hello, I have some troubles in filling the worksheet. * If one planet is aspceting planet in row one, write the name of that plant in row 52 under that planet. I,e, if Sa is aspecting Su, write Sa under Su in 52. If Jupier is also aspecting Sun, write Ju under Su in row 54, If Venus also aspects, write Ve under Su in row 56, etc. Upto 4 planet aspects on opne planet can be accommodated. If there are 5 or more, then you have to work manually, I am afraid. I do not understand " Planets aspecting planet in 1, planets aspecting planets in 2 " , etc (rows 52, 54, 56 and 58). Where are the 8 missing houses (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 120, 11, 12)? * Actually, there is a bit of mistake I made in copying the formula which I will get around to correcting soon. All the 4 rows should read " planets aspecting planet in row 1 " . The 1,2,3,4 came in because Excel was being clever! This has nothing to do with houses. Only the aspects to planets are being entered here. Thanks a lot for your explanations. In case you could send me a filled worksheet as an example, these are my birthdatas: 24 0CT 1956 11H15CET (10h15 GMT) Paris. * Now this will take some time as I would have to cast your horoscope first. Try what I said earlier and if there is still some confusion, then just tell me your ascendant and planet house positions and I would make a worksheet for you. _______ Get your free @ address at
Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, Thank you very much. These lines are clear. However, I am still struggling with the worksheet. As the results of the basic calculations do not stick with the Goravani software. I use the Krushna ayanamsa. I have activated the " Varahamihira " option for ashtakavarga. These are my planetary positions: SUN LIBRA MOON GEMINI MARS AQUARIUS MERCURY VIRGO JUPITER VIRGO VENUS LEO SATURN SCORPIO ASCENDANT SCORPIO So, in cells C10 to C17, I write: SUN 12 MOON 8 MARS 4 MERCURY 11 JUPITER 11 VENUS 10 SATURN 1 LAGNA 8 Is it right? If it is, these are the results for the Goravani software for scorpio (house 1): SUN 5 MOON 4 MARS 5 MERCURY 6 JUPITER 4 VENUS 3 SATURN 4 TOTAL 31 In the worksheet, the results are: SUN 6 MOON 5 MARS 5 MERCURY 6 JUPITER 4 VENUS 2 SATURN 4 TOTAL 32 Where is the source of the trouble? Guest guest
Dear Denis, I am quite confused on where are you getting these values. So I cast your chart using Goravani and I got an ascendant of Scorpio 20 degrees 7 minutes. The house positions that you have mentioned are also correct. However, the points I get in BOTH Goravani and in the worksheet are as follows: Sun - 3 Moon - 5 Mars - 5 Mercury - 7 Jupiter - 5 Venus - 4 Saturn - 4 Incidentally, you cannot enter anything in cell C17 as this is a protected sell. Do you have a correct version of the sheet? The sign of the Lagna is to be written in cell G3. See the attached worksheet. If you want, I will email the Goravani chart to you. How can you get such different values for the points? It must be due to some settings which only you can check. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I as just looking at your reply to Denis regarding the worksheet. At this stage I have had no problems with the worksheet but was surprised to find the ammount of difference in the one you put in an attachment for Dennis and the one I am using. For example there are about 3 or 4 extra tables on the Sarva and Summary. Am I using an old sheet which has been superceded or is the one you put up just a special one you have added to for your own use. I am using Version 4.09. Guest guest
Dear Peter, I have just fine tuned a few things in version 5.0. I had posted this on the list a few days ago. Did you not get this? If not, you can use the one that I made for Denis. It is safe as there are no 12th house corrections required in his case. Guest guest
Thanks Sanjay, I had a look after I had written to you last night but I couldn't find a later version than the one I already had. Fortunately I had already loaded the one you made for Dennis and saved it after putting in my own chart just to try it. I am sure that I will have a few questions for you when I have had time to study the additions you have made. Thanks very much once again for a wonderful worksheet which I am sure will be even better than the last. Peter
