Let us look at this chart. Mercury is natural karaka. Venus is fonctional karaka. OK. These two planets may be in sandharmis with some others planets. So, we shall have plenty of planets. So, how to make a selection when we have to predict an event? I understand the fonctional karaka is more powerful than the natural karaka. However, in this chart, you consider the house in which the NK is placed (7th house of accidents). You do not consider the house in which the FK is placed (5th house). If we do not know the event, we may look for the cause of death in the attributes of the 5th house (sports, hobbies, children, etc.). The problem is similar with houses. The NK is placed in a specific house. It is lord of two others houses. Same with the FK. So, we have 6 houses to explain the cause of death. Some keys are missing to theses rules be applied successfully. The problem should be similar for any other event of the life, not only death.
