6th Lord - 6th house - planets in 6th house

Dear Krushnaji, Margarita, Sanjay, Donna and list members,

 

In the past exchanges on the list the 6th lord has been discussed in

detail. I still have some confusion regarding this.

 

Let me take an example.

Assume for Scorpio Ascendent 6th lord is mars and placed in 11th

house with Mercury.

 

1) To check for income, debt.

If 11th house points are greater than 12th house points, then what is

the effect of Mars being the 6th lord in the 11th.

 

2) 6th lord is supposed to reduce the effects of the house it

aspects, so 2nd, 5th and 6th house's effects are going to be

reduced. So what is going to reduce in these houses as each house

represents so many things. eg. For 2nd house, would it reduce

family, wealth, or cause speach defects etc, for 5th house, would it

create problems for bearing children, or effect the degree or

education, and for 6th house, would it enhance the ill effects, or

reduce the ill effects. Is the aspect of the 6th lord on Dushtana

good or bad ?

 

3) Debt is seen from 6th house, so what happens if 6th lord aspects

it being placed in 11th house ? Especially if 11th house has greater

points than 12th house ?

 

4) If someone takes a loan for say mortgage of a house then what

house is it supposed to be seen from 6th or 8th ?

 

5) What is the difference between Debt and a Loan and from which

house is it to be seen ?

 

6) I do understand that Sun and Moon are not to be treated as 6th

lord, so how should they be treated for Aquarious and Pisces

ascendents ?

 

7) What happens to the planet that is conjoined with the 6th lord

(becoming samdharmi to it) ?

 

8) What happens to the planets that is aspected by 6th lord ? Do we

look at the points or the house which the planet represents in the

chart to see what significance is reduced ?

 

9) What happens to the Samdharmi's of 6th lord, eg, if 3 planets are

in the same houes or nakshatra as the 6th lord, or fall in the

navamsa of the 6th lord ?

 

10) Do planets in 6th house with > 4 bindus also act like the 6th

lord ?

 

These were some questions that has caused me confusion when studying

charts. From studying charts, I was still confused as to what is

reduced by 6th lord, and what becomes of planets that reside in the

6th house with >4 points ?

 

Please help me clarify these doubts, I am having trouble understand

this concept.
