Timing of Events in Antra

Dear Krushnaji, Margarita and list members,

 

While going through the Lesson on placing an event in an antra, the

example that was given was about Venus/Venus (maha/antra).

 

In the example it was given to check if Venus was associated with

either Saturn or Jupiter ?

 

For delay into the last 1/3rd portion of the antra I can understand

the link of any significator with Shani i.e. be it so in navamsa of

shani or samdharmi to shani or in nakshatra of shani or sign of shani

but why should one check if Venus is in Gurus sign ?

 

Similarly whats the logic for other planets ?

 

Question 2

In order to see if a the result will occur in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd

portion of that antra when divided into 3 equal portions we check for

1) Lord of the sign where significator is placed

2) Nakshatra

3) Navamsa.

 

How and in what order to consider these ?
