Guest guest
Dear Krushnaji, Margarita and list memebers, Krushnaji, I have seen you use individual points of SAV to see how the sight is. For example you have said while deleanating a chart that Mercury is with 4 points so its sight is neutral and etc etc... My question is that why are we using individual points when all the points are considered in the worksheet. Is there something specific that you look at when you study Worksheet points as well as points of individual planet and consider its aspects ? Sorry for asking a silly question. Thanking you, Cheers !!! Ash
Guest guest
Hello Ash, When looking at the values (SAV points) we see immediately if this planet is benefic or malefic and the value of its sight or aspect. Imagine Saturn in Aries with 5 points. We know that he is in his fall in Aries but his 5 points will boost this house and he will actually become good for Aries. Of course he will spoil the houses he aspects. So if we see a planet with high points it will always “boost” the house it is situated in. ex Jupiter with 6 p. in the 1st for Cancer asc will give excellent results (even if lord of the 6th) for the 1st concerning matters of personality, recognition, etc, but the 5th, 7th and 9th house will suffer through his sight. Now a benefic of malefic planet with 4 points will be neutral for the house in which it resides and for its sight. The points in the worksheet give an overall evaluation and determine if a planet can give results for a certain event in a certain time period. Before the worksheet was created, these SAV points also gave a first impression about how things could turn out. Ex if a planet has 8 points for house A and the lords of B and C or planets in B and C have low points, we know that the planet with 8 points will try to give results if other conditions are met. It’s also interesting to know when a planet has 0 points for a certain house. Transiting Saturn in such a house will bring worries and such houses have a particular weakness, especially when they are houses A, B or C. generally speaking planets having high points always boost the house they are in but will spoil the houses and/or planets they aspect. I also look at how the points of the Moon are distributed. This gives (in my opinion) a good picture of the “moods” of the native. If the points come without major ups and dawns the moods follow this trend. But for some people points fall from 5 to 0 and then jump to 6 again and these people have many ups and downs. Well, I hope this makes things more clear Best regards Margarita -----Original Message----- ashsam73 [ashsam73] Sunday, December 01, 2002 7:08 PM To: Subject: Using individual SAV points Dear Krushnaji, Margarita and list memebers, Krushnaji, I have seen you use individual points of SAV to see how the sight is. Guest guest
Dear Margarita, Thanks for your response. Yes it does help me understand. I do understand that the worksheet points show us how strong the significator is and if an event can happen during the antra of the same planet. I am just trying to see the finer point. Let me try to explain with an example, lets take your example, Shani in aries with say 3 points but shani is giving 15 points in the worksheet. So based on the above data, We can say that the event of Marriage can happen during the antra of Saturn but since it is giving 3 points to 7th house (which is indirectly computed in the worksheet) it should not give good results for 7th house ... So both become contra if you consider individual points v/s worksheet points ..... that is my confusion... Thanking you, Cheers !!!
