Guest guest
Dear Ponti I'm illustrating the point with a well known horoscope, I have chosen the horoscope of Sonia Gandhi, wife of India's former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, who died on 21st May 1991 in a bomb explosion at Sriperumbudur (near Madras) in Tamilnadu, when a human bomb Ms. Dhanu, an activist of Liberation Tigers of SriLanka, activated explosives strapped to her body, while pretending to garland him. Mrs. SONIA GANDHI Born on 09 Dec 1946 at 21:30 hrs. TURIN (45N03; 07E40), Italy The planetary position (using Chitrapakshiya Ayanamsa) was as follows: Asc. Canc. 23:57:32 Sun Scor. 24:04:04 Moon Gemi. 09:50:58 Mars Sagi. 01:10:24 Merc Scor. 03:19:48 Jupi Libr. 23:00:57 Venu Libr. 24:02:50 Satu Canc. 15:26:10 Rahu Taur. 18:38:44 Ketu Scor. 18:38:44 The " Sarvaashtakvarga " of the Navamsa chart (D09) drawn from the above natal chart is as follows (calculation method: Varahmihira): Sun Mon Mar Mer Jup Ven Sat| |House|Planets | | | Aries 4 5 4 2 6 2 4 |27| 3rd|Mars, Jupi | | | Taurus 6 3 4 6 5 3 4 |31| 4th|Venus | | | Gemini 2 2 2 4 4 4 2 |20| 5th|Rahu | | | Cancer 3 5 4 7 4 3 1 |27| 6th|Mercury | | | Leo 3 3 1 2 4 5 3 |21| 7th| | | | Virgo 5 6 3 6 2 6 4 |32| 8th| | | | Libra 4 3 3 3 8 2 2 |25|9th| | | | Scorp. 6 5 5 5 5 3 2 |31|10th|Saturn | | | Sagitt. 6 4 4 6 3 7 3 |33|11th|Moon, Ketu | | | Capric 2 5 2 4 5 5 2 |25|12th| | | | Aquar. 5 5 5 4 5 6 6 |36|1st |Sun | | | Pisces 2 3 2 5 5 6 6 |29|2nd | | | | --|---| 48 49 39 54 56 52 39|337| ------- You can see that the 7th House has only 21 points in D09's AV which is much below the average of 28. It clearly depicts that native will not be blessed with a good married life or a short span of married life She became a widow at the age of only 45. Further, Mars (significator of violence) has only 1 point in Leo (the 7th House of D09) showing it's malefic intention towards the spouse of the native. Her spouse Rajiv Gandhi died in a bomb-explosion. And interestingly- it was a Tuesday too on 21st May 1991. Now see Mercury also. It has only 2 points in Leo, the 7th House of D09. Mercury denotes young people. The complete team of assassins comprised of young people, most of them un-married. In fact, I also wrote an article on Sonia Gandhi's horoscope, as an exercise in exploring the possibilities of predicting the events from the horoscopes of very near and dear ones, as an alternative, instead of the horoscope of native himself. You can read this article on the following page: http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/SoniaRjv.Htm Now, I'm giving another example from my archives. Male, born on 29th March 1961 at 11:20 Hrs. Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli (08N44; 77E42, India At the age of 42 yrs., he was still un-married (till December 2002) and he wanted to know from me whether he is destined to lead a married life at all? His 7th House was moderately strong (28 points) in Sarvaashtakvarga of Ascendant. The Venus has contributed 3 points (while average is 4) to 7th House. The 7th Lord Jupiter wass debilitated, with Saturn, and placed in 8th. When I prepared the Sarvaashtakvarga of D09 (Navamsa), the 7th House went very weak (only 21 points against the average of 28) and Venus (the significator of wife) contributed only 1 point to the 7th House. It clearly indicated that married life is almost denied to this person. If, any how, he gets married, it will not be a happy marriage. I hope, the above two examples will clarify my point in using Divisional chart's Ashtakvarga. Guest guest
Dear Shyaam, Thank you for your D-9 analysis. When analysing D charts, say in this case D-9, do you consider lordship of houses as per D9 itself or you still analysis D-9 with lordship as per D1 (rasi chart) Best regards Ponti , " Shyaam Sunder Kansal <shyaamkansal> " <shyaamkansal> wrote: > Dear Ponti > > I'm illustrating the point with a well known horoscope, I have chosen > the horoscope of Sonia Gandhi, wife of India's former prime minister > Rajiv Gandhi, who died on 21st May 1991 in a bomb explosion at > Sriperumbudur (near Madras) in Tamilnadu, when a human bomb Ms. > Dhanu, an activist of Liberation Tigers of SriLanka, activated > explosives strapped to her body, while pretending to garland him. > > Mrs. SONIA GANDHI > Born on 09 Dec 1946 at 21:30 hrs. > TURIN (45N03; 07E40), Italy > > The planetary position (using Chitrapakshiya Ayanamsa) was as follows: > Asc. Guest guest
Dear Ponti, Divisional charts are used to fine tune the analysis. We have so far used Navamsa, Drekkhana, Trimsamsa extensively for finding intelligence and inclination of career. We have also seen the use of planets being placed in 6th lord of rasi in divisional chart that reduce the power of planets eg. 5th lord being placed in saptamsa of 6th lord of rasi. Navamsa is given equal importance as Rasi in this system. For divisional charts just consider points of A+B+C i.e the 1st part of the worksheet. This is what we have learnt so far from our discussions. We still have not received an official lessons on Divisional charts as yet. Will wait till then :=) Cheers !!!
