Guest guest
Dear Krushna, Ash and listmembers, while doing some research on longevity I came across this chart: February 21st 1875, Arles (France) at 7:00 am. As the program I downloaded to calculate Krushna's ayanamsa doesn't work for this old date, I made the calculation of the lagna which I hope is sufficiently accurate: it gives 13°09' Aquarius. Moon 22°20' Leo. Ayanamsa 21°6' The native is a woman who died on August 8th 1997. She was 122 years old. I am trying to point out the factors that could have signified such an exceptional longevity. According to Krushna's rules, one should look at Saturn as NK, and lord of 10th house (here Mars) as FK (third house being B). In this chart Mars is in the tenth house in its own sign. It is also in its own sign in navamsa. It has no aspect from the sixth lord (the Moon) nor from Jupiter (lord of II) and has got 5 points where it is. Saturn is in its own sign in 12th house (D for III being B), with low points but as lord of D it isn't malefic. It has an aspect from Jupiter in navamsa (I don't know if it is significant). So the karaks seem free from major affliction (regardless of this aspect of Jupiter on Saturn in navamsa)or powerful ( Mars). On the other hand, Jupiter is aspecting the third house, and the sixth lord is in the seventh house ©. The native died in Venus/Saturn if I calculated well. The rules seem to work fine: Venus is in the navamsa of Mars with Mars (lord of III) and Saturn is lord of I=E for VIII being B. At that time, the TOB wasn't very precisely reported. Do you think this chart works well? Your comments would be welcome. Best regards Philippe
Guest guest
Dear Philippe, This indeed is interesting. I always had this question also in my mind about timing death of people living beyond 120 years. It is very rare that a person lives beyond 120 years which is what Vimshottari dasa spreads. I too am curious to know the answer on how to time death of a person that lives beyond 120 years. Thanking you, Cheers !!! Guest guest
Hi Philippe, The Ayanamsa for your old lady's (122yrsold) chart is 21-06-46. The Lagna is 21*19 Aquarius and the moon is 22*30 Leo. I hope this helps. If you use GJ you can cal;culate theAyanamsa for any date. Guest guest
Hi Peter, thank you for calculating the data. It will help indeed, the ayanamsa is very accurate. But I still get the lagna at 13° Aquarius after checking the sideral time in another program. Best regards Philippe
Guest guest
Hi Philippe, I checked out the Asc after reading your letter. I have several programs and GJ gave the coordinates quite differnt from Parasar's Light and Solar Fire. When I changed to the new coordinates I got the Asc at 13* Aquarius. It is rather strange as the both use the ACS atlas although GJ is the oldest program so [erhaps now it has corrected the error. Guest guest
Hi Peter, thank you for checking. I think the chart I've got now is OK (at least if the TOB is). Regards, Philippe
