Guest guest
Hi, Im new to this site and have been going over the previous articles. Im rather trying to find how the concept of astrvarga works. It is mentioned that if for instance jupiter has more than four points than its good for the house that jupiter is placed in and its bad for the house that it aspects. Doesnt this directly contradit prashras rules who stated that benefics planets such as jupiter always do good to the house they aspect. I have jupiter in my 5th house with 5 points and its aspecting the 11th house, 9th house and the lagna. Im an aries acedent. Does that mean all the apsects of jupiter on the 9,11th and lagna are bad. my birth detals are 6 aug 1980 bombay 12:04am looking forward to ur response thanx in advance

Im rather trying to find how the concept of astrvarga works. Ash : Its AshtaKaVarga. It is mentioned that if for instance jupiter has more than four points than its good for the house that jupiter is placed in and its bad for the house that it aspects. Doesnt this directly contradit prashras rules who stated that benefics planets such as jupiter always do good to the house they aspect. Ash : Where has parasara written that ONLY GOOD will happen in antar dasa of Guru in vimshottari dasa. Here we are using Graha Dristi. Guru by its nature is a benefic. It has 56 bindus to distribute in its BAV so generally you will find in a large number of cases Guru to have more than 4 binuds. Please study the worksheet in more detail you will start to understand the reasoning behind it. As per the worksheet, More points means more eager to give results. Parasara has given notes about Upchaya houses, he has given Guru is a benefic, Guru does have 56 bindus greater than any planet to distribute, Parasara has given the use of Vimshottari dasa. Varharamira has given detailed use to Ashtakavarga and so has Parasara. It was a good question though. > > I have jupiter in my 5th house with 5 points and its aspecting the 11th house, 9th house and the lagna. Im an aries acedent. Here is something for you to start with. Guru with 5 bindus means that 5 (planets or lagna) are supporting Guru. There are special consideration for lords of D and Lord E. For eg. For your 7th house, Guru is LOE i.e. lord of 12th house so in that way we would not consider Gurus sight as Malefic for 7th house matters..... i.e for Aries ascendent. You can now read up on initial lessons and create your worksheet and answers will start to flow. My suggestion is that do not mix systems. Ashtakavarga is used as an entire system of prediction and is not any different Vedic Astrology infact its a great tool given by Maharishi that makes predictions easy especially now with computers these computations become so easy. > my birth detals are > 6 aug 1980 > bombay > 12:04am > > looking forward to ur response > thanx in advance Ash : Please sign your name.
