Similarly, what about Sun to Mercury? If Mercury is < 3* from Sun does it mean Mind is very controlled? And if Mercury is say max. from Sun, i.e. 28* does it mean Mind is out of control (not for sex, just with thinking generally)? Venus is a very sensitive planet. Its also NK for Marriage and for 12th house matters i.e. using Kalpurush chart. That is why we check Venus. Mercury is always close to sun and its not as sensitive as Venus. Mercury on the other hand is like a kid. Its gets influenced easily. It generally acts like the lord of the house its placed in or also takes on qualities of the planets its associating with. Mercury with 6th lord i.e becomining Samdharmi to it will affect it more so keep your eye open to such things regarding mercury. Moon again is another sensitive planet. Rahu with Moon combination is one to keep your eye out for. Rahu eclipses moon. More closer is the distance between Rahu and Moon the more whimsical or moody or squirly :=D the person might be. Here is something. Such people might act strange on Pournima or Amayasa i.e. full moon or no moon nights. On the others side of the coin if Moon is say 3rd lord i.e. Mahadasha or its Mahadasha can give death if such a spoilt moon i.e. with Rahu or very close to Rahu may not give death. You do good research so keep these also in mind and when you see such things frequently the keep the list updated with your findings like you did with Venus to Sun distance.
