Peter: PL Software - Ayanamsa

Dear Peter and list members,

 

I just purchased PL and I was hoping you could show me how to set up

Krushna's ayanamsha on it. You gave a great explaination to Sateesh

for doing it on GJ - hoping you could please do the same for me as I

am going to be running PL.

group of 9 buttons to click on. So click on the " Prefs " button and a

screenshowing various preferences will come up, among them the

ayanamsas. Click on the one which says " My Own (User Defined). Thsi

will mean that it will use the one for which you have just filled in

the details that is Krushna's ayanamsa.

Hi Puneet,

My PL is the old version (ver 5) and I am not sure about the latest version

6.

In mine I go into Options - Calculations. Thsi brings up a box with the

various options including ayanamsas. In the ayanamsas I choose " Raman " and

at the bottom of the ayamsas it syas offset and for that I put in -00:26:03

and this seems to work for me. Don't forget to tick the Varanihira box for

the astakavarga choice.
