Guest guest
Dear Peter and Respected List members: I see your dillemma from the post #83 below. Now that I am configuring my settings I see that there is not an exact answer to the problem - at least for those of us who are using PL. I put in the deviation from Raman as was suggested: -00:26:3 and using mean nodes got a familiar chart. This is all - by the way, for my own data as was given in this months meassges. According to krushna's ayanamsha calculator the value for that day should be: 22:30:07. Using the deviation from Raman in PL, it comes up as 22:30:18, so 11 sec off. I am assuming that this is the closest that we can get to Krushna's ayanamsha using PL. If there is a way to refine this please show me how. Guest guest
Hi Puneet, I think that the GJ works out more accurately than PL bit if you haven't that program it could cause a slight problem. I think the chart should be pretty much the same but there may be a couple of days difference in the dasas. There is one possible answer. At the time several of us were trying to set up GJ and PL I believe that Sandy Crowther used a different offset from myself it was an offset from Lahiri and possibly that was a bit more accurate. Her site is www.jupitersweb.com so perhaps you can contact her through that site. I do also have her private address but I am unwilling to divulge that without her permission. You could also contact her through the SATVA list or even the SIDEREAL list. Peter S
