Guest guest
Dear learned list memebrs, My name is Kasim, I'm a final year medical student hoping to become a doctor soon. I'm also very interested in spirituality (Bhakti yoga) and Vedic Astrology. I have been recently playing around with the Astakavraga system. And I'm unsure what to make of my mercury in Rasi and D10 My birth data is 19th April 1980, Birmingham UK, 8:08am DST 1hr Giving 23 degree Taurus ascendant and leo rising in D10: Rasi SAV BAV 1 Taurus: 30 Ve (6) 2 Gemini: 33 Mo (6) 3 Cancer: 26 4 Leo: 30 Ju (4) Ma (5) Sa(3) 5 Virgo: 21 6 Libra: 26 7 Scorpio: 29 8 Sagittarius: 24 9 Capricorn 30 10 Aquarius 31 11 Pisces 33 Me (8) 12 Aries 24 Su (7) D10 SAV BAV 1 Leo: 35 2 Virgo: 22 Ma (3) 3 Libra: 25 4 Scorpio: 31 5 Sagittarius: 28 6 Capricorn 28 7 Aquarius 25 8 Pisces 33 Me (8) 9 Aries 22 10 Taurus: 31 Su (5) Sa (3) 11 Gemini: 27 Mo (4) 12 Cancer: 30 Ve (6) My questions are: According to one school of vedic astrology my mercury is debilitated (although there may be neechabanga in Rasi) and has a low shadbala score. But according to Astakavraga it is in 11th house with high SAV score and itself has 8 bindus! So how to interpret this. What effects will be felt in mercury dasas. In D10 Mercury is debilitated again. (no neechabanga) This time in the 8th house. But yet again has extraordinary high bindus and placed in a house with high SAV score. So I am wondering with regards to career how would mercury dasas go. I go through Ju Me starteing 2005 - 2007 And Mercury mahadasa in 2035 - 2052 Another point is it good to have low points for saturn. To reduce its maleficence? My best wishes Kasim
