worksheet malfunction

Dear Donna and group members,

 

There is a problem with the masterworkseet 4.09. After putting in the

values for some columns it is giving ### and #NA for some columns. It

must be somewhat recent because an earlier time when I downloaded it

last year no such problem was there. Could you please look into it

and possibly downlad a working worksheet which you may have from

before? Or even send it as an attachment.

 

Also in the lessons there were a few unusual characters in lesson 2,

p.14. And for lesson 4 it only prints out as landscape so the writing

at the ends of the page gets cut off.

 

Those are some of the problems I've encountered. The main one being

the malfunctioning worksheet.

Dear Puneet,

That sounds like a computer program at your end rather than the spreadsheet

or the lessons.

I had a lot of problems with the same sort of thing when I first downloaded

the program, although I think that mine was an earlier version at the time.

Some of the things to check are is the extra little program on dates loading

correctly, what date and time format are you using for your computer. In

fact have you got a new computer and if not have you changed anything.

Sometimes firewalls and virus programs cause quite a bit of trouble with

some of the programs. I had to change my firewall just recently because it

wasinterfering with my programs and previously I have had to change my virus

control for the same reason. For me Norton is particularly bad but I know

that others have no problems with it.

Sounds like problems from your end rather than the worksheet or the lessons, but I'll send you another worksheet in one email and the lessons in separate emails because of the sizes.
