Guest guest
Members, It is interesting that in Mantreshwar's Jataka Phala Deepika, he mentions that the Moon is indicative of the hollow portion of the Earth. The book is one of the classics on Hindu astrology, The existence of the hollow earth is still alive in the collective memory of the Tibetans, but it just amazes me that the Hindus conserved this understanding on through the post Vedic period. I say this because Mantreshwar was not a Vedics age, he wrote well after the beginning of the Kali Yuga. Of course, maybe I shouldn't be so surprised about it because there are some definite comments and stories about the hollow Earth in the puranas.
