follow-up clarifications

I have a few questions about what we discussed yesterday wrt to the

basics:

 

1) what are the differences between Varahmihira and Parashara wrt to

AV system? Please ouline it clearly.

 

2) what is the significance of nadis to AV system (elaborate on what

is written on pg 4, second paragraph, in the introduction)

 

3) again how do we read BAV verbally? say for Venus: see that Sun

gets a point in 8,11,12. How do we read it again? i.e. for 7th

house: " if venus is 7th from the Sun then sun gets no support from

venus for that house position. " is this correct? " If venus is 8,11,12

from Sun then Sun gets support from venus for that house position. "

comment please.

 

4) take the same as written above to navamsha...how or does it apply?

Dear Puneet and list members.

 

I tried to answer your question but acted up and I lost the

enire mail.

 

1) Differnece between Parasara and Varharamira can be found in the

BAV scheme of Moon and Venus. Study the BAV scheme given by PArasara

and compare that with Varharamiras or as given in lesson 1 you will

get the difference. We follow Varharamiras BAV scheme as advised by

Krushnaji.

 

2) AV is a tool given by Parasara as well as Varharamira. We also

use Divisional charts as per standard texts. When a Nadi changes

means a planet or lagna has changed in 1 of the 16 d-charts. So dont

get confused by all that.

 

3) Say you are distributing points of Venus. U want to see how Sun

is distributing points of Venus. So read it as. From Sun if venus

is in 8th, 11th and 12th its giving a bindu. OR

From Natal position of Sun, Sun distributes a venus bindu to 8th,

11th and 12th house.

 

4) Navamsa and all D-Charts we follow the same BAV distribution as

given in Lesson 1. The difference is that you take the lagna and

postion of planets in those div charts.
