ambiguous situation

Dear Krushna, Margarita, Ash and listmembers,

 

recently I was wondering what would occur in the following situation: assume

a Leo ascendant and Saturn in seventh house with more points. Saturn is lord

of B in B with more points, that would be good for marriage. But it is also

sixth lord and this is quite unfavorable.

What would be your diagnosis in such a case ? (actually, I think the problem

is more general and concerns Saturn in Aquarius because it would be lord of

the house represented by Aquarius and also lord of 12th from that house).

Thanks for posting this. I always find your mails inspiring.

What this particular case is concerned, Saturn has 6th house status

but he is also lord of the 7th, so he can give results for marriage

but the " quality " of the result would always be tainted through this

6th house lordship. Meaning the marriage could be considered as

less " lucky " . But everything considered, in the West, particularly,

marriages are mostly 5th and 12th house matters anyway. But we can

consider 7th house also for partnerships in business for example.

Dear Philippe and Margarita,

 

I am still thinking over this question and hence did not reply. I

think we have to check the status of shani for both house.

Yes it has resposibility of both houses.

I think we carefully have to weigh the status and by status I mean

its position in chart, its bindus, its points, its navamsa, its

nakshatra, samdharmis and degrees (divisional chart position).

 

Also we might have to see where is Guru and the status of Guru,

Venus, Mercury (FK).

 

If this shani is with moon and both are giving low bindus in their

SAV to 7th house in their BAV then marriage might get delayed a lot.

 

I would be really interested to study some chart with known events

for a happy marriage and charts with unhappy or divorse marriage with

Leo lagna.

 

Or if Shani has beneficial dristi of Guru who is of good status (like

not in libra) then he may not let matters go to extreme end and may

check this Shani.

 

If you or anyone has such charts then we can study this part further.

 

So on the whole I do not think that there is any straight forward

answer to this question.

 

Yes, it again is a good question I must say.

 

If we can do some charts with leo asc with known events then we can

start to verify things w.r.t. marriage.
