Can you please give the period from which you were out of work...also if it was layoff or for other reasons i.e. education/studies etc.. Ash could you please elucidate the methodology for determining periods of layoff and relief from that period? Is it dasha of a planet with low points in worksheet for certain house(s)6th and 10th house?? Does sade-sati, or zero points in a house have any influence? Hence, that day to this day I have been looking for work. I did get very temporary employment briefly from 21st to 29th November 2002. All 12 houses work together at the same time. There can be multiple combinations. For example if 12th points are low in Worksheet so it can show expenditure might be there at the same time 10th points are low and 5th is low then it can show change in authority at the same time if 9th house is strong again in WS for the antra running then it can show higher education. If 8th house influences then it can show some sort of Grant etc etc..... If economy is not doing well and if 2nd lord antra is running and 6th house is powerful in WS for the antra running at the same time 5th points are low and 10th is high, 11th is high then it might show a change in job for higher income. A astrologer friend of mine had asked me to see his chart and I looked at a chart and saw that the antra of planet running was samdharmi to 2nd lord. So I asked him if he was worried and 6th house points were high however 5th was low and 10th was high and 11th house points jumped up significantly. He asked me about his job. I told him that there was a change coming and that he would leave the current job and would get another job with much higher authority and pay back. However happiness and worries / politics etc might plague him. He got an offer the following week which he accepted and the job was of much higher authority with over 50 people reporting to him and much higher pay packet. All these things are can be identified as per chart and worksheet. So many combinations are there and age is also important factor. In India if 5th triggers after a certain age not many people go back to school. In the west its different. People can change streams and go back to school to do graduate studies even in their late 40's. Here one has to see desha/kaal/paatra. You have asked about job. Each house is playing an important role and all 12 houses work together. Lagna you need to get good job. Better personality may get u a better job. That is Lagna. 2nd house, Family may help you, you may have blessings of father/guru so lagna/9th house and their lord relations might be important. You need courage/success in interview so 3rd house also works. It is house D for 6th. 4th house may show some luxuries coming your way as its LoE for 11th. 5th house is karak for authority. We need to see that to see any change in job. A good degree helps in getting good authority. If good authority is shown then it might indicate a good job. 11th is income, 12th is expenses, 9th is luck, 7th is dhan sthan for 6th, 8th is bonus. So all these houses play an imporant role and we need to study each house and status of each planet. Before that intellegence has to be gauged to see what is the capacity of ther person. SAV points, DBCE points, status of Moon, capabilities to take risk, check is person is hard working etc etc all these things also have to be assessed. From the basic chart, navamsa, d charts, 4:10, nakshatra etc you can get the status of planet. Then you can study the antra running to see what houses might trigger and what are these points showing you. Sateesh has given his chart, please see why Suns antra gave him a job and why only last 1/3rd sector gave him a job and check the status of Moon antra to follow. The answer will come to you.
