Lat: 18.55N, Long: 72.54E, DST: 0, Zone: 5hr 30mins Asc is Pis 24:04 She is unmarried and the delay in marriage is a cause of concern for her parents. A. Can you identify why there was a delay in her marriage? When will the marriage be likely and will the marriage bring happiness for her? B. Are there any combinations that indicate change of jobs, foreign travel, good income. C. Were the previous 3 years beneficial for her family? How good is the current antra? I'm not going to enter into a full analysis but jsut wanted to point out some particularities This chart shows full delay for marriage because Saturn aspects houses A,B and C for marriage. So you can check after these dates for a probably marriage date. As to happiness from marriage, there are no happy marriages, there are happy or unhappy people and happy people have happy marriages. Venus is more than 43° ahead from the Sun, this spoils the qualities of Venus. Moon is with Rahu and in Rahu nakshatra. Saturn and Moon have 4:10 relationship Mars is in Mars' sign and with the Sun; Mercury is also in Mars' sign and is coloured by Mars, so perhaps the lady is more independent minded Change of job and income were favoured during the Venus antar that started in september 2001; this is seen through the fact that Venus is LoD for the 6th (job)and the 11th (income); LoE for the 10th (social status and recognition) and for the 3th (moving or relocation). Venus has good points in the WS I don't know what exactly you mean by " family " , do you mean her parents, brothers? sisters? So this lady must be very head strong, confident, my way or the high way attitude. She is very intellegent (lagna/sun/moon in 3 sectors of Shani in navamsa, drekkhana and trimsamsa). 11th house has 28 points in SAV. Moon is afflicted by Rahu and the distance between them is about 9 degrees which is less than 15. So she may act whimsical and might think she is doing right thing. Might not accept her fault. Again this moon is in nakshatra of Swati so ruled by Rahu so again there is influence of Rahu on this Moon. Moon is aspected by Mars in Navamsa so this adds fire and will make her a hard worker. 10th SAV points are also 29. 6th house has 37 bindus so she must have good social standing. Lagna lord is in 3rd so in upchaya house giving her good individuality and imposing personality. No direct indications of denial of marriage. Delay is there and delay causing planet is Shani. This lady also has the blessings of guru/father. From SAV points we can see that 10th points are more than 11th. 1) Delay is straight forward in this chart. Shani is aspecting ABC House and Guru is at 3deg18 so it cant check delay due to shani if it conjoins or aspects. The nakshatra that guru is in is krittika ruled by Sun who again is 12th from B. 2) No zero in SAV so no additional delay so Marriage period can start after Shani comes to 0 deg Cancer so after 27.5 years. 3) When delay period ends antra is pretty much over i.e. till 11/2004. 4) Lagna, Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars and their 7th lords are in 1:7, 2:12, 2:12, 1:7, 2:12. She has changed job about 3 times in a short period in Ve antra. And all such changes resulted in higher pay. By family I meant her Father, Mother, and siblings. In India, that is considered the family before a person gets married. And Ash you are dot right about her being very intelligent, and having an 'imposing personality'. And she beleives in her actions. She is also extremely hardworking. She can also be dominating at times. The reasons for the delay that you have indicated would be helpful to me to increase my understanding. You are also very right about her professional problems. There were problems with bosses at work. Things are much better now in Sa/Su dasha. She also earns a pretty decent income. You are also right about her expenses. Her father incurred a loss in business in her Ve antra and she has done whatever she could for her family. However, in Ve antra, she did have one foreign travel for few months. The current Sa/Su dasha also seems very favourable for her in terms of foreign travel. She is already travelling a lot. Thanks for your responses. I will try to study and learn from your approach. I tried to analyse the chart myself, but I feel that when you know a person personally it is somehow difficult to see the patterns! The mind seems so biased towards what it wants to see. Maybe experience with more charts will teach me and my mind something too. I shall wait for more charts to analyse and learn from. Shani in any house will delay matters in 3rd house from it. Why is this you may ask ? If for example shani is in 5th house it will delay 7th house matters (3rd from 5th) and the reason is because it aspects House A, B and C for 7th. From 5th house its aspecting 2nd house (House A for 7th as B), 11th house (House C for 7th as B) and House B (7th house). 2) Another thing, is yes I think now you are seeing why when you know someone very well you tend to get biased. So when you are learning you can apply all laws to a new chart that you dont know and you yourself have seen the success. You applied the laws to Prafullas chart and you got most of the events right on target. So that is why I say to learn take charts of people you do not know that way you can apply laws with open mind and get to learn. That way you will get confidence. 3) In my mail I have written that Venus will oppose karaktwa given by 7th house. So it will not give long term travels. I should have clarified what I meant. 12th house is for long term travels like immigrations. 12th can also indicate long journeys. House C for 8th as B. So here I mean if this lady tried for immigration to a foreign country it would keep the process pending or not getting her papers etc. For short term travles that Margarita had pointed out in her mail. Venus is LoE for 10th house and also LoE for 3rd house so travel related to work can be there but short term. Sorry about that confusion. But I thought it was important so have pointed it out. Had this been Shani antra instead of Moon and had there been no zeores then result would have occured in 1st 1/3rd sector of Shani antra. The law is.. if the delay causing planet is LoD or LoE then in that planets antra result will be in 1st 1/3rd sector. Here delay causing planet is shani and moon antra is running. Mo is however samdharmi to Sa by 4:10 theory in this chart. Your rule still applies and Mo can still give result even if it aspects A. Planets in navamsa can replace their navamsa lord. In this case Moon is in navamsa of Guru. So Moon can replace Guru. Cheers !!!
