Sateesh Chart and Krushna's rate of precession

Hello Ash,

 

I changed the period to 365.2524 and ra/mo dasha for Sateesh now

starts on 2/18/2004. Quite close to 2/13/2004.

 

The small difference now is only because of the difference in 'rate

of precession'. Is there a way to calculate the rate of precession

for every year. I wonder how did Krushnaji populate the tables

in 'Krushna's ayanamsa calculator' excel sheets.

Dear Manu,

 

Peter Sutcliffe assisted me in setting up GJ Software for the Krushna's

ayanamsa - JHL I think gives 18th Feb, and GJ 13th Feb.

 

Generally, even with ordinary Lahiri there will be a couple days difference

between the softwares such as Junior Jyotish, Jyotish Tools, JHL, GJ, SJS,

Parasara Light.

 

Hence, I am not sure if the rate of precession will reduce the 5-day gap.

Although it may do.
