Thanks Ash for yr note too, I have been attempting this for quite a

time. And am catching up.

 

Not really !!! I am not trying to confuse you. In fact, with most of the

techniques, even I found lots of events not being ratified. May be due

to my lack of complete knowledge of the technique.

 

Please do not read my mail, as explaining reasoning other than the

technique of this forum...(I am just trying to correlate transit

strength of ashtavarga with other factors)

 

However, I will like to share that, the transit has much more to do in

most of events than dasa. As Ash rightly pointed out in his mail, where

transit seem to have supplemented the weak dasa implications.

 

However, unlike most prudent methods...my chart has vipeerata yoga (more

of planets in 3/6/8/12; then exchange of 6, 8, 12; then yoga graha mars

with rahu/ketu in 3/9.

 

Only sun and mercury is the exception. They being 2nd and 11th lord with

lagna lord has some reasoning to give !!! BUT here again transit

strength works....my mercury period was bad i lost money in stock

market...then sun bhukti was also not very good...was struggling in IT

works.

 

Now mars period is to start....I do not know what to expect.

 

As Ash as pointed out...Jup/Saturn's points are the key...i will add one

more thing..transit of rahu/ketu over natal planets hold lots of secrets

for events or trends. Rahu's transit over natal rahu, then venus,

Saturn, sun and mercury brought lots of significant events (esp while

touching natal positions).

 

The big concern...future. Will this dull financial period continue like

this or will reach to the old glory once again. The silver lining I see

from my past experiences are - rahu's transit cycle, saturn's and

jupiter's transit, mars antar. Now may be my wife's chart becomes

critical here, as in her chart her 7th lord's (sun)' mahadasa has just

started in nov 2003- sun is in 5th house aspect by 11th lord and 2nd

lord Jupiter®. I will like to get on to her chart details from

supplementary influences point of view at little later stage of our

discussions.

 

Should any one require more feedback on my personality, or life

events..please do let me know.

 

Ash...you are absolutely right..i am aggressive, passionate and quick

decision maker in my work. This has been my working strength. The work,

which other consultants used to finish in 10 days..i used to wrap up in

2/3 days. I used to come out with quite daring, strategic and sometimes

crooked decisions. And most of the times, I surprised people/competition

and mates with most unlikely decision structure. Yes, I have been

transparent, ethical but DRAMATIC. and My Transparency has been more of

strategy than my working habits. I often sound very transparent, but

actually playing a game (in work front only..in personal life/matters, I

am more straightforward). I am bit negatives too sometimes..or say

rather prejudiced. I am mostly on extreme side..I either like or dislike

most of things. I can not keep my emotions in control or am absolutely

cold on the things.

 

I look forward to more details on future..as sometimes this fear (of

continuous lean patch of few years) puzzles me.

Prafulla is confusing me!

 

Dear Ash, Prafulla and List Members,

 

Here is my second attempt...

 

Youngest CA in Dec 1996 (ra/ve in first 1/3 portion):

 

Success and commerce, both, are seen from hs10. It is seen that Ve antra

was in effect

when Prafulla became a CA. Also the strengths worksheet for hs10 gives

25 points to sa

making it the most powerful significator. However, Sa aspects hs10 (B),

hs5 (A) and hs2 ©

and is 6th lord.

Ve is a natural samdharmi to Saturn with 14 points and also samdharmi by

sign.

Ve is also the lord of hs3 (E).

Hence, ve gave result.

However, I have a doubt, ve also aspects C, hs2. How could it give the

result? Well, actually

the other planets have strengths below 12, so maybe Dear God did not

have any other choice than

to nominate ve.

There is one more doubt. Sa has aspects on A, B and C. Ju has no aspect.

And Prafulla told us

about he becoming the youngest CA. Isn't that odd? Sa should have

delayed the event!

 

Long Journey to MiddleEast in June 1988 (ra/su in first 1/3 section):

 

Long journey is seen from 5th.

And I am surprised again! Su has no strength points (only 10) as

compared to me (18) and ve(14).

Me is also lord of D and Ve is Lord of E.

Why did Sun's antra give the result?

Very good money from 1993 to 95 (ju/sa whole antra):

Ashtakavarga points of Sa for hs10, hs11 and hs12 are 4, 3, 3. They

don't indicate much.

Sa was transiting hs7 in this period. Its ashtakavarga for hs7 is 3.

That does not help much.

Sarva for hs7 is 21. Not much help again.

Let us consider strengths for Hs2. The house for wealth.

Me is the most powerful significator with 18. It is lord of D and placed

in E. It also does not

aspect A or B or C. I can't seem to explain why did Sa favour the

native. Sa has aspect on B although it

is lord of E.

Let me not analyse any further. I don't want to feel very pessimistic.
