She wants to know about the main things of love and marriage, her job and career. . . Her birth data is as follows: March 21, 1985 Time: 11:15PM Zone: 5:00 EST West Islip, NY 73W18 40N42 When I looked at her prospects for marriage, I looked at her 7th house as the B focus house. These were her points for the 7th house in her Worksheet. Planet Points Mo 23 Su 22 Sa 19 Me 18 Ve 16 Ma 9 Ju 1 Su Mo Me Ve Ma Ra Sign B 2 Ju A 9 8 from B Asc Sa Ke C 6 10 from A D 11 3 from A E 7 11 from A She is currently in a Ketu-Venus dasa. Ketu in this instance takes on Venus as the main planet to look under. Venus is exalted in Pisces. It has 16 points. . . BUT. . . . it aspects House C (in the sign of Virgo), which eliminates it from contention. Likewise with Sun, Moon and Mercury who would otherwise substitute as Samdharmi for Venus, but they too aspect House C. Of course Jupiter and Mars are out of contention by way of their low points. That leaves one planet, Saturn, who although has high points (19), aspects House B in the sign of Taurus. So does this mean that she will marry in a Saturn sub period then because of its aspect to the B House which would therefore cause a delay? This would mean that she wouldn't get married until the Saturn subperiod of ketu which begins on Sept 16, 2007 until Oct 25, 2008. Is this correct? And if so, would the delay mean that she will marry in the 2nd part of this time period (dividing it in three parts), because it has a zero in its SAV? And what happens when ALL the planets are disqualified? Does it mean that she will NEVER marry? Say for instance Saturn was also disqualified. Does this mean that we change the focus house to the 12th perhaps? If we do, then the 5th house now becomes the D House with Venus getting 18 points. It doesn't aspect any of the A, B, or C houses and seem eager to give the results. Since she will be in a Ketu-Venus dasa until May 20 of 2004, does this mean that she might run away with her boyfriend and get married? Laws givern in the lessons are mostly for traditional marriages where marriage is an agreement between families rather than between individuals. House B is valid for " agreement " between the two parties. In the West, the 5th (friendship) and 12th house (attraction) come mostly under focus. About Venus. According to the laws Venus can give " marriage " because it is LoE for the 7th so it's aspect on house C is nullyfied. Note that there are 2 zeros in the sarvashtakavarga : Mars has 0 for the 5th and Saturn 0 for the 9th; these are 2 houses for the 5th as B. It would be interesting to check how her life when Saturn transited through the 5th and Saturn was also on her Moon ! Marriages do not happen necessarily in a planet with high points. For that the quality of the marriage should be checked first. When larriage is not considered " happy " it happens in low points and is " rectified " (through divorce) in high points In this case, during Ketu/Venus this girl could have a love affair. Looking at Venus fot the 12th as B, it's loA and loB and placed in E. Furthermore, Venus has 14 pts for the 5th and 18 points for the 12th. However for marriage first you check delay and delay causing planet. Here its Shani. Apart from that there are 2 zeroes in SAV. So its causes additional delay. Now this is for marriage and 7th house matters. Now in west there can also be 5th and 12th house relationships. For that Venus is Karak for 5th house and in House E for 12th. So she might have met someone. Next antra is that of Sun. Sun is again LoE for 5th and is in House B keeping B as 5th. There are 2 zeroes and so in last sector of Sun also there is more possibility. This lady might be more inclinded towards arts. i.e a profession linked to Venus and Mercury. Cheers !!! Which leads me to another question. When considering zeroes in the SAV, do we ALWAYS take the total sum of zeroes if they show up in the SAV regardless of what planet has it? She seems very interested in metaphysics and is a deep thinker. She has Jupiter in her third house which would be excellent for a writer in spite of its debilitation. If we put the focus on the 3rd house, jupiter is right on the line with 12 points. So therefore since Saturn is the delay causing planet it would take precedence over the Venus which would otherwise give the result for marriage when the focus changes to either the 5th or 12th houses? The thing is how do we know? Does it all boil down to how a person views the institution of marriage itself? if they take a light hearted view of it, then we would consider the 5th and 12th houses as possibilites for marriage? Here 3rd house points are also very high so she might also be very independent and bold. Lots of parakram. It also shows high levels of desire. Moon is in scorpio in navamsa so she also may be able to hurt someone with her speech. Now for timing of marriage Shai is aspecting House B and aspecting LoA in Rasi and navamsa and LoC mercury is also being aspected by Shani in Navamsa. Here delay checking planet Guru is in rasi of Shani. So there is Full delay. Now in addition to Full delay of Shani there is additional delay due to 2 zeroes in SAV. So now delay of Shani will be there till Shani comes back to 0 degrees Scorpio which might be around 29 years + additional delays due to Shani so marriage i.e. 7th house matter will happen after 31-32 years. After that you can start to check the first powerful significator. This is as per traditional marriage and as per old Indian standards. Here in West... its different. Persons can live together and be like couples and its not necessesary that they tie the nuptial chord. So they come close together for love (5th house) and 12th house reasons. So here keeping that in mind and general nature of this lady i.e. 3rd house points high, lagna points high and here Venus antra and I feel last 1/3rd sector might have caused her to come close to someone and next antra is that of Sun who again is LoE for 5th house. Both these planets have high points for 12th house also at the same time 4th points are going up so showing happiness from home or a move at the same time 2nd points are going low so less happiness from family, it might show she might move out. Now 5th house will trigger so she might move out to go to college or university school too as 5th also shows degree and undergraduation education. I take it that this lady might have just completed her highschool. Now in Venus antra points of 11th are low and 12th points are high so it might mean that she might be in debt or borrowing money from parents (some sort of debt). Next antra of Sun is triggering for 5th and at same time points of 11th are going up and 12th points are same as 11th so its showing she will just manage in her expenses and may take up some kind of parttime job.
