Guest guest Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 Dear List Members, I have the following questions about Ashtakavarga astrology system and I would really appreciate to get your opinion: a)in building the Ashtakavarga chart, is it better to consider the planet position according to either RASI chart or Bavha chart (i.e Shripati house or any other particular house system)? b)Coming from your experience, is the ashtakavarga method of any help for prediction if applied to the various divisional chart too? thanks a lot in advance for your help J. It is through the their relative position from each other that the strength of the planets is determined. This is done from Rasi only. Point b) Yes, ashtakavarga can be applied for the divisional chart. But we only take into account the " basic strength " of the planets and not the points gained through position or aspect. If you study the system these things will become clear.
