If the TOB is correct, but we suppose that, he finished his teachers degree during Ketu/Venus. Venus can act for the Sun and for Mercury as it is FSD to both, and this for finishing his degree. I don't think we should consider the points of Mars here. Ketu is only the maha dasa lord. For the moment the native just started Ketu/Moon, so we should look at the Moon for job related questions and Moon can act for Mars and Saturn also. Did I get something wrong? BTW, I don't think it's only a question of points here the native does not seem to make much effort to get a job. The tenth lord is Moon.He is in his own sign.That is great.The tenth lord from the Moon sign is Mars.He is with the Moon .That is good.Saturn in the tenth from the Lagnam is good.He cancells the debility of Mars. Jupiter is situated in the tenth house from the Moon sign and that is fine. Therefore, Jupiter ,Moon ,Mars and saturn are not against job prospects,atleast.During their combined periods they work togather and bring in fruitful results. Jupiters fourth house aspect works on the tenth house and its inhabitants,from the janma Lagnam.Similarly ,saturns tenth house aspect acts on the tenth house from the Moon sign etc.That there are no planets in the houses situated on either side of Cancer and in the seventh house from cancer may not be a conducive thing for employment etc.Moreover Saturn is with his enemies.Therefore saturn may cause tentions on the jobfront. Now Ketu mahardasa and venus antaram is in progress from 7-9-2003 and it lasts upto 31-10-2004. The native might have got his degree in Ketu/Ketu. Ketu represents Mars and Venus and is more like Mars as Mars has more bindus. Yes, you are right. Mars is LoD for 5th house and is eager to give results. Mars being LoD is placed in House E with 5 bindus so even more eager. The native has 30 bindus in lagna making in confident. 12th points v/s 11th from Lagna and Sun in both cases 12th is more than 11th so somehow this persons needs will be more. All 3 moksha trines have more than 28 bindus in SAV so again likes to live life lavishly. Moon is giving 0 bindus to 9th house. In this chart Moon rules 10th house and is giving 0 points to 9th house could mean travel away from home for working at the same time Mars is giving 0 points to 2nd house thereby showing again some distance from family or no cooperation from family and 7th mars is also giving a 0 points to 9th house so again no cooperation from father or family members or wife. 9th house again is for luck and its 7th from 3rd house that is of parkaram. If hte native has been idle since december 2002, after completing his studies. I understood that he never had a job. That he finished studying and is still waiting for a job. This seems logical. In 2002 Saturn was already in Gemini where there are 2 zeros and Saturn is karak for the 10th and 11th houses. Moon (present sub)is also SD to the 6th lord. Transits points for Jupiter and Saturn together have never reached " 8 " since 2002, so there is more difficulty. These are only a few things I saw. Another points I wanted to make was that I agree that Shani was transitting a house with 0 points actually 2 zeroes one given by Moon and 1 by Mars in Gemini his 9th house however Shani is not giving 0 to 9th house. Could you please elaborate on this point. All that I get is that there will generally be delay and worries during saturns tranist over a house with zero points, but not necessirly if Sa is the planet having zero in that house. So could you explain, it would almost serve as a supplimentary lesson for me at least. When a planet gives 0 points somewhere for a house this means that this house is spoiled in some way because it is weak. To judge the " quality " of this zero we should look which houses are affected. Let's take the example chart. Mars and Moon give zero to the 9th house and Mars also zero for the 2nd. Now we look at the upashaya houses for libra asc. We see that the 9th is house A for the 2nd, house C for the 5th and house B for the 9th. The 2nd house is house B for the 2nd, house A for the 7th and house C for the 10th. So, in a certain way these houses are disminished beause there is a zero in one of the significator houses ..This is for the general evaluation of these zeros in the natal chart. It is also generally stated that more zeros delay the timing of an event and can have an effect on marriage but I'm not going into that now because this is given in the laws about marriage. Now what happens during a transit of a planet in such a zero house? We only consider transits of the malefics Saturn and Mars. As Mars is quicker than Saturn, his transits are over quicky. But Saturn can stay quite a while in a sign, so his influence will be important. In this example let's look at the zeros of Mars. Mars has no strength where it gives a zero and Saturn is going to affect Mars. Mars is karak (or loA) for the 7th and the 12th houses. So we will say that the effect of the transit of Saturn in this house where Mars has zero points will affect matters related to the 7th and 12th houses. Moon is Karak of the 3th house. So the transit of Saturn where the Moon has zero points will affect matters related to the native's 3th house. Putting everything together, for this example, we will say the the transit of Saturn through the 9th house will influence 3th, 7th and 12th house matters for the native. So one thing is to see how a zero affects a natal chart and how the transit of a malefic through such a house works.
