Regarding Ayanamsa calculation excel sheet.

Dear Ashram, Manu and others

 

I used the 1.3 version of the ayanamsa calculator. I

found that for the year 1968 the year ayanamsa is

given as 22:23:57 and in the Lesson 6 the year

ayanamsa is 22:22:51.

 

Which one should be considered for calculations?

Dear Amitab,

Please call me Ash not Ashram.

That difference may be due to birth date. In the excel worksheet you

have to enter your birth date, birth month and birth year and then it

gives u the appropirate Krushnas ayanamsa value.

Please call me Amitabh not Amitab.

 

In the Ayanamsa calculator the cells F4,G4,H4 says

" Year Ayanamsa " .

 

C13 to H13 gives " Krushna's Ayanamsa " .

 

I was (and am) asking about " Year Ayanamsa " . This is

during the 1st January.

Yes, indeeed there is a discrapancy. For now go by the lesson.

I have pointed this out to Krushnaji.
