Guest guest
Dear Nikhil, I havent seen the software. I do not know if we can get the worksheet as per the lessons and teachings of Krushnaji to get the planet strength. As per my knowledge no software exists that computes the strength of planets as per the worksheet that is in the file section and also use Krushnas ayanamsa. When I get some time I shall look at it. Thanks for the reference. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Dear Ash Came to know about this discussion through a member of this list, residing in USA, who forwarded Nikhil's message to me. " Vjyotish " uses Ashtakvarga almost in it's entirety for predictive purposes (on day-to-day basis). I can not say whether it follows KAS system or not because I have never found time to go through the lessons of Krushna ji. However, I may certainly say that it follows Ashtakvarga system, in it's true spirit, as told in our ancient Vedic texts. I hope, Krushna ji's Ashtakvarga system is not different from what has been told by our great seers. In fact, the Vjyotish methodology was evaluated by some well-known Vedic scholars (who are also the authors of some of the best books on Vedic Jyotish). Please see the following page to know their views: http://howisyourdaytoday.com/Testimon.htm You will be pleased to know that Vjyotish methodology has not only been used successfully on human being's charts but also on mundane charts (for financial astrology). See the following article: http://howisyourdaytoday.com/AkvgFA.Htm As this forum is basically for discussions on Ashtakvarga, list members will find many articles of their interest- which uses Ashtakvarga based analysis primarily - in articles section of the site. Links for these articles are available on following page: http://howisyourdaytoday.com/AshtkVrg.Htm Best regards, Shyaam http://www.vjyotish.com , " ashsam73 " <ashsam73> wrote: > > Dear Nikhil, > I havent seen the software. Guest guest
Dear Shyaam, First of all let me congratulate on working hard for reviving the use of Ashtakavarga. The sytem or the way to compute the strength for each planet for all 12 houses is taught by Krushnaji. This way of computing is not given in any book. This is what we on this list refer to as the Worksheet. A worksheet was created by Sanjay Jaggia to help to make this task which can be very time consuming and if not meticulous error prone and this is diligently done for all 12 houses and a similar worksheet is created using only the A+B+C points for the D- Charts. The strength is computed again for all planets and for all 12 houses even in D-Charts. Donna has worked very hard to nicely document and make lessons which have been put up in the file section and also on her web site. You can refer to Donnas website and also can download lessons in both English and French. http://krushna.sageasita.com All this is followed as per the teachings of Krushnaji. Included in his teachings is what we call Krushnas Ayanamsa which we are using on this list. All the charts are computed using KAY. Since you have not had the time to read the lessons and I have not seen your software can you be so kind as to tell me if the following is computed in your program. 1) Krushnas Ayanamsa 2) Worksheet as given in the lessons 3) Worksheet for all all D-Charts. 4) Transits results i.e. computing the daily points as per the lesson on transits. These are some thigns I can think off the top of my hat. The rest you can refer to the lessons. If this is possible to compute in your software then it will be very helpful for the students who are learning Krushnas Ashtakavarga System as beign taught on this list. Cheers !!!
