Regarding Mangalik charts

Dear Ash, Manu and other list members

Could u please tell me the methods of identifying a

Mangalik chart using KAS or other methods.

I understand that this group is specifically about

learning, sharing info about KAS. Yet information from

other sources would help me understand what Mangalik

chart means and how KAS can inform that the chart

under study is a Mangalik chart.

regards,

Amitabh.

Dear Amitabh,

KAS is a part of Vedic Astrology. It is no different. So please do

not be under any misconception about this.

Here are some reference about Manglik that has been discussed in a

thread between Margarita and Krushnaji.

/message/1168

/message/1038

/message/1051

The method of overlapping charts is given in the Lessons.

Cheers !!!

Dear Ash

Thanks for the info.

From the messages I understand that:

1. If Mars is in the 12th, 1st, 4th, 7th and 8th house

then the chart is said to be Mangalik chart.

2. While reading compatibility charts, if Saturn

and/or Rahu of one chart aspects the venus of the

other chart then the malefic effect caused due to the

position of Mars is neutralized.

3. Sun of a chart aspecting the moon of another chart

leads to compatible relationship.

4. Mars of one chart aspects Venus of another chart.

5. While studying Mangalik chart the 5th and 12th

houses should be studied considering them as House B.

6. Mars of one chart located in the same house as

Venus of another chart also effects the relationship.

Are there any other points to be considered?

Another point, a query, does the Mangalik chart

'effects' considered only for charts of women. I mean,

if Mars in the chart of men are in 12,1,4,7,8 house,

then their chart should also studied with the same

considerations or only the womens charts should be

read with the 'Mangalik' effect?

Thanks for the links. I havent seperated KAS from

Vedic Astrology.:)

regards,

Amitabh.

Dear Ash

KAS follows Krushna's Ayanamsa. Due to the differences

in the Krushna's Ayanamsa from others(Lahiri being

widely used). Does the information mentioned in

messages change if Lahiri Ayanamsa is used?

Thanks for the links.

regards,

Amitabh.

Dear Amitabh,

The whole chart has to be considered.

Say if the chart is of a girl and in that chart her Mars is getting

power from Venus i.e. Mars is in 10th place from Venus and venus has

more points i.e. greater than 4 then mars will become very powerful.

Now at the same time say venus to sun distance is > 43 deg and Sa is

aspecting it and also a luminiary and say this Venus is in krittika

and Jupiter is in libra then and if at the same time lagna points are

> 32 then .........

Now with the above combination say if Jupiter is aspecting this Mars

and at the same time lagna/moon/sun are in more sectors of jupiter

then ?

If the chart is that of manglik and at the same time when u overlap

both charts then if sa and ra or male is making good relation with

mars of female and mars of female is making a good relation with

venus of male then there will be a lot of attraction between the two.

A chart had come to me and this is of someone living in Toronto.. and

her mother asked me if her daughter and this guy she was seeing would

marry.

When I overlapped the charts and I saw that the guys Venus was close

to Sun however the girls Mars was having aspect of Sa and Ra of male

chart and the guys venus has receiving aspect from mars of female I

told her that there was a lot of attraction between the two however

the guy was not very the caring or loving kind. I also saw that the

girls moon and the guys sun and the guys moon and the girls sun were

having very good combination.

The mother then confirmed that they moved in together just a month

after they met, and the part about the guy was also right as the guys

venesuan qualities was not powerful but both of them were very good

friends and compimented each other drawbacks.

So based on that and both the girl favourable period was running and

the boy was going to start his favourable period after a year for 7th

house. Both already had their 5th and 12th activated at the time.

So this was last year and I had told their mother of the time as per

KAS that I had narrowed down to. The guy has proposed to the girl

and they are planning their marriage come next summer which is in

line.

Cheers !!!
