Guest guest
Dear group members, Re: Audio lessons of Vishnu Sahastranama available for learning by email I'm sure we are all aware of the greatness of Vishnu Sahastranama. Some may be doing this in their daily routine; some may not and wish learn it. I myself am learning it, and I would invite any member interested to learn it to send me personal email. I have taken a computer program to make 30 second MP3 files of whole Vishnu Sahastranama split according to the corresponding nakshatras (i.e. 1- 4 Ashwini, 5-8 Bharini etc..) Smt. Vedavalli chants the recording. Smt. Vedavalli served in the Teachers' College of Music of the Madras Music Academy for several years, before becoming a Professor of Vocal Music in the Government College of Music, Adyar. Note: It is not my intent for this project to be used for any commercial purpose and I request the same code of conduct for those receiving the files. Since I have edited it thus, I think it will be helpful to those who want to learn for their personal spiritual benefit. For doing any Sanskrit recital pronunciation is key, and also a problem for those wanting to learn it properly. So taking it in small chunks until it is fully digested is the best way to learn. Then the whole can be done regularly with ease. So now as the Sun moves into nakshatras those corresponding verses (audio file) will be mailed out. By one-year time doing every day bit by bit in this manner you will know it well. Once I have an idea of the interested persons I will send out first file on Makar Sanskranti. Mailing will be done in this manner only. Even if one person benefits from this then the purpose would be more than served. Anybody interested in participating please send me personal mail at my gmail account: puneetjoshi108 (i.e. " at " gmail.com) If you have any friends, family member etc. wishing the same feel free to have them send me mail as well. Please send blank message with Re: Vishnu Sahastranama Regards, -Puneet
