Guest guest
Dear Vijay, You had stated earlier to Ash that you were not using Krushna ayanamsa. So that should explain your discrepency with Bala's transit results. If you use Lahiri, Saturn retrogrades to gemini on Jan 13, KAS gives it on Jan 25. I don't have more time to look into it, but I think that may be the main discrepancy you are facing. Regards, -Puneet , " childofdevi " <childofdevi> wrote: > > Dear Bala, > > So far so good!! Guest guest
Dear Puneet, Thank you very much for this clarification. I think you are right; Bala had previously pointed this out to me, and I used the SAV sum with the KAS but Transits with Lahiri. Using the KAS(see below) as a positive offset from Lahiri, I get the retrograde Sat to Gemini on Jan 25th. Just one clarification: KAS is less than Lahiri, so we must take a negative offset from the Lahiri Ayanamsha; this would bring SatR to Gemini at the end of December?? Best wishes, Vijay ps. Both you and Ash have the same results so I assume we take a postive offset from Lahiri, but just thought to clarify anyway. , " Puneet Joshi " <puneetrph> wrote: > > Dear Vijay, > > You had stated earlier to Ash that you were not using Krushna > ayanamsa. Guest guest
Dear Vijay, Yes KAY is less than Lahiri. But retrograde means reverse. Think about it. Then if you chart it out and compare, you should see the effect. Regards, -Puneet , " childofdevi " <childofdevi> wrote: > > Dear Puneet, > > Thank you very much for this clarification.
