Guest guest
Dear Group - Krushna, Ash and I are proud to announce the release of the newest worksheet program which is called KAS 2005. There are major revisions to this worksheet as you will soon see. A few of the major features included are; 1) The ability to now just enter your birth data and have the program draw up your chart in the preference of your own style, Southern chart or Northern chart. 2) The chart automatically calculates in Krushna's Ayanamsa and is to be exclusively used for this system only. 3) A drop down menu that you can click onto the top toolbar so that you can manuever around in the worksheet easier. You can also use the bottom tabs as you normally would do in any excel worksheet. 4) A Quick help NOTES page that will help guide you and give tips as you begin to learn the system and analyze charts. 5) A SAV Calculator allows you to simply enter any transit date and get a readout of that date plus the following week's SAV points as it relates to your natal chart, at a glance. Please note that these are only a few of the features that this program offers. It is a major step in the right direction for Krushna's System and will streamline things considerably. In order to download this program, please go to http://krushna.sageasita.com/ and then proceed to the KAS Files and Worksheets section. Once you download the zip file, simply open everything into one folder. Thanks - Donna, Ash and Krushna

Guest guest
Dear Donna, Ash and Krushna, Excellent work, its great to have this. However, I'm having a problem running the program...the dll file is in the same folder as the kas2005 workbook but - Upon start-up a msg box comes up regarding macros, yes or no still it requests a link to another workbook (worksheet 5.9.7.ash) which is not found so I think thats why the calculations are not being done for me. Please advise if I'm missing something. Thanks, -Puneet , " ashsam73 " <ashsam73> wrote: > > Dear Ramesh, > I just tried and it worked. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Krushna, Ash, Donna Congratulations for having developed this version of the KAS worksheet. I havent browsed through the features yet. A point I had noted with the earlier version (I am not sure whether this version will also have the problem) is that of opening the worksheet with the OpenOffice software/StarOffice software. I am not sure whether I am the only person in this group who isnt using MSOffice. If I am (the only one) then this wouldnt be an issue to the group. Have you tested the sheets with openoffice or staroffice softwares? regards, Amitabh. PS: My point is about usability of KAS worksheet on other platforms. Guest guest
Dear Amitabh, I do not know if you can convert an MS Excel workbook into a format that Staroffice or OpenOffice uses. Guest guest
Dear Ash OpenOffice & StarOffice does open MS Excel documents. I was able to see and enter data in the previous MS Excel sheets. The issues were about the linking of couple of pages. I tried opening the worksheet with StarOffice but the system (StarOffice) was hung. Will try with OpenOffice and check. regards, Amitabh. Please advise if I'm missing something. That IS odd, because I don't get any references to any other worksheets at all. Do me a favor and list exactly what the message link is referring to. In other words what particular sheet opens up when you try to enter the program. Is anyone else having this same problem too BTW? Thanks, Puneet. I'll try to find the culprit. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the particular software you're referring to, but if i were you I would check with this software itself on their website perhaps and see if it's compatible at all with Excel Worksheets in general or find out if there's some sort of conversion plug-in or add on that might do the trick for you. Since you said that you haven't browsed the features yet, I'm assuming that you DO have a way of opening up this Excel Worksheet without this other software then? > > I am not sure whether I am the only person in this group who isnt> using MSOffice. No, for right now, the program will only be accessible to those of you who have Excel worksheets and most preferably the 2002-03 Excel versions. Guest guest
Hi Donna, Ok, after running it on excel 2002 I had to change macro security to low. Then only I could create menu. Just keeping your own natal data as entered natal summary does not calculate automatically, left with all #### in the feilds. Same with other calculations. Is there an initialize button somewhere like Denis had in his sheet? Or am I not doing something right? They will need to be converted to the lower formatting version and even then I can't promise you that the program will look or work like the original because there were lots of newer features added onto the Excel version from the '97 version to the 2002-03 ones. So if you have the Excel 2002, my advice is to definitely stick with that one. . . Donna

I looked under menu--> edit.--> links, it is looking for two links two spreadsheets 1) \kas2005\old krushna worksheets\worksheet5.9.7.ash.xls 2) \worksheets5.9.1.zip\ASHMasterWorkSheetNew2.xls If you could include these two files in the zip file. Guest guest
Hi Donna, Have just downloaded the new worksheet and I must say that I am impressed!!!. This should have been written when I was first starting Kas. I might have been able to follow things then. Unfortunately my knowledge of Vedic is limited to what I needed for SATVA and is very limited. I do read most of the letters which get sent to this list but sometimes I get completely lost. Perhaps I will be able to follow them better with this version of the program!! Peter Sutcliffe - ramesh mishra Saturday, January 15, 2005 1:04 AM Re: Re: BRAND NEW WORKSHEET PROGRAM - KAS 2005 !! Thanks - Donna, Ash and Krushna India Matrimony: Find your life partner online. Guest guest
Hi Peter, Have just downloaded the new worksheet and I must say that I am impressed!!!. I haven't heard from you in a long time! Nice talking to you once again. I'm glad the worksheet installed easily for you and gave you no problems. I think you'll find it alot more fun and easier to understand once you learn how to navigate around in it. Enjoy. . .
