Female Nov 19th , 1980 5.57 PM Raleigh, North Carolina(5.00 west of GMT) 78W38 35N46 I am getting 20Ta43 with KAS2005 ws. These are the points for 7th house as B Ma 25 Ju 17 Su 11 Ve 8 Mo 7 Me 6 Sa (6) B= Scorpio A= Gemini C= Pisces D= Leo E= Aries Since Ma(Sagitarius) is aspecting C(4th) and A(7th) it does not come forward to give the marriage Jupiter is being the 2nd significator is with Sa in Virgo and aspecting C along with Sa on a 7th aspect. Since all other planets are disqualified as it is having less than 12 points. am I missing something here?? Thanks for your time. I think Jupiter being SD to Mars can come forward to give marriage. Most probably in Su/Ju period 3rd sector. Ash and other members can correct me if I am wrong. First check if marriage can happen for this native. Now there is zero due to Ma in 7th. Also the SAV points for 7th are really low, only 17. Still I feel that marriage can happen. Let me add a some points and you all attempt it once more. Bala, Yes you have casted the chart right and are on the right track. Here you have found the Significators correctly. That is good. Now with this data you get an idea. There is one more law that is not to be overlooked. It is that Planet with > 4 bindus in House D or E are also eager to give result. In our case here Moon is in 12th house (House E) and is with 6 bindus. So here Moon also becomes eager to furnish TIMING of result despite having less points in WS. Now you should also check Rahu and Ketu. Here Rahu is Samdharmi to Moon and Saturn being placed in 3rd house. Moon has 5 bindus and Shani has 4 bindus so Ra will act more like Moon. Ketu is SD to again Saturn and Moon being placed in 9th house. Again Moon has 6 bindus and Sa has 2 so it will act more like Moon. So here Moon is also eager to give result being placed in Hosue E so Rahu and Ketu will also become eager to result. So we should study this also. Now our list of strong significators are Ju, Ma, Mo, Ra and Ke and the rest have low power. Upto here I hope its clear. You have not found how much delay is there ? Hint : Compute the delay from lessons on how much delay is there due to Saturn and how it is moderated by Ju and also delay due to Ma. Marriage cant happen in the delay period.. so its important to find this period before u start to look at the significators..... these powerful significators can only activate after the delay period is over.... Another question you asked was about why you see Mars and 7th lords. This is a female chart and Mars is the sexual barometer. So u need to see this also. Similarly for Males its Venus. So as per the lesson we should check lagna, sun, moon and venus for males and in addition to venus we also check mars for females. Your question about 2:12 between lagna and 9th means that the native might see eye to eye with her father. Sa is aspecting house A & C so there is a full delay.At the same time Ju is aspecting A and the delay is checked.. But as per lessons Page 156 " Jupiter, either exalted or debilitated, checks the delay of Sa by aspect only and NOT WHEN IT IS WITH SATURN IN THE SAME SIGN (TRUE IN THIS CASE), IN HIS NAVAMSA OR NAKSHATRA " SINCE JUPITER HAS NO EFFECT IN MODERATING DELAY AS IT IS WITH SA IN VIRGO IN RASI CHART. THE NEXT DELAY CAUSING FACTOR IS MARS HAVING ZERO % IN 7TH ADDS AN OTHET 10% DELAY. You computed Sa's delay properly however u did not moderate it due to Ju. But u did come to the same delay so maybe u did both together in your mind and offsetted them ? In any case here is the calcs. Sa's full delay is 27.5 - 1.25 = 26.25 years Now its moderated so say about 22.25 and Mars is also causing delay due to having 0 power in 7th so about 25 years. I wanted to point out the difference. However you have come to the same sector that I came to. Now lets see how it folds out.
