Guest guest
Dear Group - Thanks to Manu Batura's contribution to our worksheet (he is an expert programmer), we now have the retrograde planets as well as the readout of the KAS ayanamsa for any chart that you enter into the program. You will not be able to change or modify the ayanamsa to Lahiri or any other ayanamsa for obvious reasons since this worksheet is specifically geared towards learning Krushna's system. TIP FOR CREATING YOUR OWN DATABASE OF CHARTS Another good trick to remember is to save each worksheet for each person that you enter as a SAVE AS file. Then save the file as KAS2005v2-Donna for example (or whatever name matches the chart) and put all the charts that you save that way into a separate KAS2005v2 Charts folder. This way it becomes your database for charts and saves you the chore of having to re-enter the data everytime you want to recheck a particular chart. (the only downside to this is that if you upgrade to the next version, the database files will still remain as part of the KAS2005v2.0 program and not the next one, so you would have to re-enter all the data again for each chart just once, but it's still better than having to enter the same data over and over again every time you switch charts). Although the zip file will come packed with all three files, including the Swed32.dll file, and the instructions sheet, all you will need is the main worksheet file if you already have had the program previously installed. Just delete the old worksheet and replace it with the new one and it should work fine. Please go to http://krushna.sageasita.com in order to download the file as usual from my website. Thanks again Manu for your good work! Donna

Guest guest
Dear Donna, Manu and Ash Many Thanks for the upgrade..I will download that. ALso I found a workaround for crashes( I am running MS Office XP under Windows98, with ViewSonic monitor and the crash happens in ViewSonic monitor sofware, when accessing various sheets): AFter creating the worksheet, switch to Menus and select summary spredsheet from the KRUSHNA Menus...That takes you to summary spreadsheet..Select all the cells of the summary spreadsheet, copy- paste them into a new spreadsheet and now you can access all the information in summary spreadsheet..Follow same procedure for other sheets and gradually recreate most of the worksheets into the new spreadsheet and save this new copy. Thanks for all your efforts and Regards Rajesh , Donna Quinn <DQuinn12@o...> wrote: > Dear Bala - > > Thank you for your kindness. Guest guest
1) The new program seems to be really very well designed with all desirable features for convenience/ready reference. My heartiest thanks to all those who have been involved in its development. 2) Please let me know about the time zone selection for India in the worksheet. I could not see +5:30 option in there. However, using +5:00 as time zone, the programme returned Taurus as the Asc. while it is Scorpio with KAY as per earlier KAS worksheets. (Natal Data entered was - DOB 13.05.1965; TOB 20:40 hrs; Place : 26N09 / 79E21) 3) Also, the worksheet returned 'Friday' as the day for 13th May 1965 - my birthday (which actually was a Thursday). Is is because birth time entered by me was 20:40 hrs (ie past sun set on 13th May 1965) ? Looking forward to your clarifications - perhaps I made some wrong entries/selected certain wrong options. Guest guest
Dear Bala Ni, Namaste, Pls. see example exercise as given in Lesson 15. In that as per given birth details when I cast the chart , I found different Ayanamsa from that of exercise. So there is difference of long.of Asc and other planets also by few minutes. Guest guest
Dear Ramesh, Please go to NATALDASA worksheet or NAVIGATE IT THROUGH MENU, or u can go to it from North Indian or South Indian worksheet. Now on NATALDASA WS, u should see a YELLOW CELL called ENTER TRANSIT DATE. This will have a little RED mark showing that there is a COMMENT. Move your cursor over it and read the comment. Infact Donna has inserted comments in ALL critical places which gives a wealth of information. Please enter the Date that u want to find the event for. IT will take u to that point in time by highlighting the MD/AD/Sector. You can use Excel formulas also like =Today() to get todays date. You can enter dates like for example u want to see what MD/AD/Sector was running on 1/1/1990 so enter 1/1/1990 in G6 cell and Dashas will change. Similarly if you go to SAVCalc hyperlink from North Indian or South indian or via menu, there is a yellow box in CELL E2. IF you want to see what transits were at any point in time U CAN ENTER THE DATE THERE and it will take u at the point in time entered and show u the transit information. Thanks, Cheers !!!
