I'd like an analysis of this chart for my learning purposes only... Subject suffered stomach problems from 2000 to 2003, when finally a surgery was completed to remove a rare form of tumor. Since then the subject has had great health and doing very well... This happened in Rahu Mahadasa / Ve antardasa. The question is why did it occur in Rahu/Ve? Ve is lord of 7/12 exalted in the 5th. (Sc lagna) Has parivartana w/ Jup. Is a vakra Jup in 5th acting as a malefic for the Sc lagna? Is Sa/Ma combo in the sixth house in Ar responsible for the subject's cure and subsequent good health? How is the Sa/Ma viparita raja yoga helping this native. Here is some detail on life events to help rectify the chart (if needed) Married July 3, 1996. Children: Son born 8/16/2002 and Daughter born 12/6/2004 Well educated with two Masters degrees in US in Mech Engg and an MBA. Has an excellent academic record. Career didn't quite take off until this year... subject feels underutilized at work. But will be moving to a wonderful (though physically exhausting due to travel) job later in 2005. Just so that u can follow KAS and interpretation of members here you can visit Donnas website and download the lessons and also the KAS Worksheet. http://krushna.sageasita.com We are using Krushnas Ayanamsa. You can cast the chart in the Excel WS that u will download. I will wait for members to cast your chart and study both lagnas and verify the events and come to a conclusion on which lagna seems more appropriate with concrete reasoning. Rahu being in Aquarius will behavelike Saturn who is 3rd and 4th Lord...So Rahu acts like 3rd and 4th Lord during its MD..Hence all events related to 8th and 9th house will happen in Rahu MD. 8th house is house of death or house of longeitivity. Ketu in Leo behaves like Sun..So during Ketu's AD, Ketu gets just 5 points for 6th house of health and service..hence both health and service suffer. Further multiplication factor is just 0.5 for Sun, indicating several problems related to health and service during Rahu/Ketu period...continuing on same lines during Rahu/Venus period, Venus is Lord of D and E for 2,10, 3 and 7th houses..Venus has high points for all these houses but just 10 points for 6th house..Multiplication factor is 1.2 and that means that health and service will gradually become better in Rahu/Venus period from 12 June2001 to 14 June 2004. Here life events are given, like line of studies, marriage date, date of birth of children, difficult period in work etc. Which lagna matches better. Here you will have to apply the laws and see how things fit. Does marriage match clearly with the time given ? Is more difficult time in work clear, and sickness ? Conception time of children in which chart is matching. Take each event that is given and go through it slowly. Say take marriage, apply laws with both lagnas and come to a conclusion. Then take the 2nd event and see. If you solve like this then it will get all laws cleared and also approach to a chart using KAS. This is a good chart to study. My suggestion is to take your time, take each event and solve it. Rajesh, one correction. Rahu is at 19Aq0 deg so in Sign of Shani and nak of Rahu. So u correctly said that Rahu is more like Sa. Now for Ketu, Ketu is in sign of Leo and nakshtra of Venus. Both have 4 points. So it will have mixed results of Sun and Venus. This is with given lagna. With Lagna of Leo Ketu goes to 11th and here Su has 2 bindus and Ve has 7 so here Ketu will be more like Venus. Bala, Yourself, Dadhi and I am sure others are interested in studying job and finances. " ..I am getting confused since I get Scorpio Lagna with the given time and the lagna does not change to Libra unless you reduce the time by at least 12 minutes...So I am not getting Leo Lagna at all. The Birth data is 12th March 1970 22:38:25 IST Hours at Madras Egmore (80E15 13N4)... Hope my data is correct? Also the multiplication factors for Saturn(0.4) and Sun(0.5) are really low indicating a struggle with health and career issues(6th house) during Rahu/Ketu period..during Rahu/Venus these issues improve gradually since Venus has 10 points for 6th house and multiply it with 1.2 yields 12..so a bordrline case..Now he is back to rahu/sun again...at this rate looks like major achievements related to career and wealth will happen only in Jupiter Mahadasa. So Jupiter is karaka for 7th house of marriage & business, and 10th house of career and authority...so alle vents related to 7th and 10th house will happen in Jupiter MD..Jupiter has high points for all houses but again Multiplication factor is just 0.5 and hence his strong efforts will lead him forward only(he will neded that) until he eventually reaches Jupiter/Mercury which will provide the desired achievments financially i.e from July2012 to Nov2014..so he is still few years away from Jupiter MD starting in 27Nov 2007...Jupiter/Saturn also has same issues with low points of Saturn again..but Venus can help as Samdharmi during Jupiter/Saturn from Jan2010 to July 2012...so Jupiter MD will take him to desired financial and career heights ( I am not very sure about rahu/sun to rahu/mars range since Parasara has said that these are really tough periods for all.. i always think that KAS system must go in synchronization with Parasara's predictions for various antardasas subject to aspects, conjunctions and transists..sort of i am always cross verifying the two and learning new things every day)...if I am on the right track, only then i will try to focus on delays( i am not very confident on delay factors, rather say I do not really like Delays in Real Life, when one is trying so hard to live a normal life etc., sort of scared of computing delays...i will try to undersatnd the delays but try not to mention it since this native is already entangled in so many low points here; my thoughts are that of you do not know the delay factors may be then you will try your best efforts and overcome such delays, anyway all these are personal thoughts only...) Guest guest Posted February 5, 2005 Report Share Posted February 5, 2005 Dear Learned Members, One thing I noticed was that when I used the Excel file and cast the horoscope, Ve in Navamsa moved to own house in Libra (6th lord in 6th from Navamsa lagna). Using Jagannatha hora, Ve was neecha in Vi.. I guess the difference is due to using " Krushna's Ayanamsa " ! What are the differences between the different ayanamsa systems? As 6th lord in 6th house in Navamsa, I can see a greater role for Ve in influencing health -- however, as disease is a physical condition, how does Ve's role translate in the Rasi chart? Regarding career - the subject was always working, did very well at work too... There was a job change to a better position (without promotion) in Oct 2002. Not having any promotions and being good at work, the subject felt " under utilized " . But a new job offer in 2005 (with plans of starting in July/Aug) should give the subject excellent career prospects.
