So the person might have good mind for venusian things. He has said he is fond of reading and singing. So here as per both charts there is 1 sector in Sa and more in Venus. So average intellegence. Now in the lesson its given that photographic memory is different than getting degree. 5th house is for degree and that is Dhan sthan for 4th which is knowledge. Now here check the points of 9th house and also 5th house. If we had details of obtaining degree then u can time it and see with which lagna its matching. Now there is one small correction with your calculations though u have analysed it properly. With Sco u have found the planets properly for inclination of career however with Libra, 10th from lagna is in Navamsa of Saturn. 10th from Moon lord is saturn and its in navamsa of Sun and 10th from Sun lord is mars and thats in navamsa of Moon. So the planets are Sa, Su and Mo. Sa can show mechanical or something to do with machines, Su can show management and moon is liquids etc. The native has done Mechanical engineering and also Management. Very nice attempt. So as per your findings for THIS EVENT ONLY which lagna suits better ? If you are not sure, you should ask more questions. If Balaji can provide data on when his degrees were issued you can verify them too. Your finding on 3:6:10:11 is also perfect. You should also check that from Sun and Moon too. Here in this case all 3 are in zig-zag manner so your deduction is correct. Also see the lagna points too. They are 30. So the native is quite confident in his approach. Thanks, Cheers !!! Mercury would make a person better with money, calculations etc. With Sco lagna in navamsa, drekkhana and trishansa there are more sectors in Venus and Mars. So the person does not seem to have a photographic memory. However he must be a very hard worker. Moon is aspected by Mars. 3rd house points with libra lagna is 33 and 10th house points are 36. Some people are very smart and have to study lesser and some have moderate intellegence or average intellegence but are really hard workers and can acheive very high grades. Both can acheive success. Sa can show mechanical or something to do with machines, Su can show management and moon is liquids etc. The native has done Mechanical engineering and also Management. Though I know the subject to be hardworking, I think he is quite intelligent and has high grasping abilities, combined with interests in several subjects. In Navamsa, of the 4 planets in neecha, it seem like Ma, Ju and Me get neechabhanga. Combo of Mars/Sa in navamsa lagna confers a raja yoga (5/10 w/ 7th) And Ju/Mo combination in 7th confers another raja yoga (1 w/ 9th), and constitutes a gajakesari yoga. The positioning of key planets in quadrants I think enhances this subject's abilities overall. I do realize that the ashtakavarga based system is a quantitative assessment of the chart, but do qualitiative indicators such as raja yogas and neechabhangas get factored when ashtakavarga bindus are alloted? Else, how do we account for any redeeming factors present in the chart? The philosophy of upchaya house and A,B,C,D and E houses or karak, phal, phalit and samrudhi sthan consider so many factors. What is Ashtakvarga ? Please see the Bhina Ashtakvarg chart for Ju and Moon. you mentioned Gajkesari yog. You can see the distribution of points and see that if ju is in particular position from moon then it will get a bindu. All these things are covered. The 4:10, special yogs like venus in particular nakshtra, guru in libra etc are covered seperately. They get covered in the worksheet. Here we do not mix timing of event from quality of event. Those are 2 different things. These discusssion have been done and are in the archives. There is a lesson on multiplication factor that can give further insight on quality. All yogs AND from 8 differnet angles are covered in Asktakvarg. That is the power of Ashtakvarga. Please spend some time trying to understand the system. Again for status of planet we have to study status of Karak planet. This again if its spoilt then result of house B is spoilt. All these thigns are studied. Yogakarak planets like Moon and Mars, Sun and Mars, Venus and Saturn are also covered as they become natural samdharmi. In this itslef see how many lords are in upchaya from the house they own. 2nd lord is in 6th, 3rd lord is in 11th, 12th lord is 6th, 5th lord is 3th, 10th lord is in 11th. Guest guest Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 Dear Ash Well Bala Sosale has already done a very good analysis of occupation and I was reaching similar thoughts yesterday, however I could not reach any definite conclusions i.e., how do we know which is the strongest planet controlling occupation in Navamsha, when multiple planets are indicating different professions? DOes that mean there will be three different professions in life during various periods of those planets? Also I am trying to make a list of all rules regarding profession, which i have learnt sofar..So I reached few more(which are conclusions based on your emails): 1. The major rule for timing events is as follows: Sun's critical transits through major significators 's signs and nakstaras give the precise dates(within 15 day period plus or minus, when favourable antardasas are happening at same time) when various events(good/bad) are supposed to happen in past and future(provided ofcourse if one makes efforts in those directions).... 2 ALso timing is subject to delays if Saturn is aspecting houses, A, B, C or their lords in rashi and/or in Navamsha in any combination. 3. If any karaka planet has a zero in any house and especialy when such a planet is the karaka for certain relavant houses which are under consideration and also the MahaDasa of such a planet is running, then there can be delays in evnets related to those houses for which the planet is karaka. Is it essential for MD to run or this delay rule valid for all Mahadasas and Antardasas for which the concerned planet is karaka? 4. Multiplication factors only control the quality of the event, the timing is not affected by them. So if there are no delays and the evnet is about to happen in the periods of Lords of D or E, than multiplication factor can help to make the event good/better/worse, depending upon the value of the factor Please verify if I am right... Some experiences I want to share. 1) One thing is that 0's in SAV enhance the delay or cause more delay in an event. That is the guide line I am using. This also gets reflected in Worksheet. Say 2nd house has a 0 due to a planet. Then in the WS when u are computing the first portion i.e. finding basic strength u add A+B+C points. So here 2nd house is A for 7th, its B for 2nd and its C for 10th house. So when u are computing power for 2nd, 7th and 10th house in WS then for basic strength u will get 0+B+C for 2nd house, A+0+C for 7th house, A+B+0 for 10th house so basic power will reduce. Once u select an antra, then sometimes it can enhance the delay inside the antra for selecting. More zeroes means more delay. 2) About selecting profession, I am just going by lessons.
