Guest guest
Dear Ash and other learned members, I am not sure following this system when the marriage event gets delayed over 27.5 years. In a previous post I saw somewhere it mentioned to add 10%, in somwhere else it was saying delay after 30 years. Here in the US that can be somewhat normal, but i suppose in other cultures that can be a big delay? So in what case is that true (27.5 pushed to 30)? and is there an example or old discussion I can read where the delay will go past 30? thanks, ben
Guest guest
Dear Ben, Say take an hypothecial example where Sa is in 5th house so from there it aspects House A,B and C so there is full delay. Assume Jupiter is not aspecting this Shani in Rasi or Navamsa. So there is full delay. Now degree of Shani is important. There is difference when Shani is at 29 deg in 5th house v/s 1 degree. 27.5 years is approximate i.e. the time taken for Sa to complete its cycle around 11 signs. Now assume Sa is at 1 degree in 5th house so it will take Sa approximatly 27.5 years to complete its transit around 11 houses. So now assume that after delay period is over the antra running say 2/3rd of it is over. So we may skip it. This is when Delay causing planet is Shani. Now other planets can also create delay. Say if there are 2 zeroes in SAV. Then there maybe more delay or say delay caused by Sa will be enhanced. Now assume Jupiter is in lagna or say Ju is in 11th or 3rd house and is not LoD or LoE or say ju is aspecting 7th lord and 2nd lord then such a Jupiter also can cause additional delay in marriage or say enhance the delay caused by Shani. Other planets are also capable to cause delay. Say other planets have 0's in SAV then such planest can enhance delay. Another way delay can be there is say no strong period is there for marriage as per the Worksheet after the maturity or delay period being over. So in our example say if Sa was at 1 deg in 5th house and say Ju was not aspecting Sa then full delay would be there of 27.5 years and then after that no strong period was there in the WS for marriage so in that way marriage would not take place till strong period came into effect. If in certain cases Lagna and 9th lords are in 5:9 then it may moderate the delay. This will be due to blessing of father or guru. Ben, so many factors have to be taken into account. As a thumb rule we say that add 10% to every zero in SAV and say 10- 15% due to Jupiter. Ju and Sa are slow moving planets, Mo is fast moving, Ma is moving at medium speed. Slow moving planets can cause even 15% delay as compared to say Moon that may give 5% say approximately. These are for guidelines. Then finally u select the proper antra which will furnish the event from the Worksheet. After that you hone into the proper sector and then after that using suns transit u can get proper time within 13 days of the event. Say full delay is there and its 27.5 and then say after that Ve MD is running and Ve antra assume can give marriage and in 3rd sector. Ve/Ve will be 40 months so there will be delay of 26 months and 20 days so it will be after 30 years. One also must take into account desh/kaal/paatra principle of delay too. I beleive when Krushnaji was solving Late Peterjis chart he asked what is the early / moderate or say delayed marriage in the country u were at the time of marriage. Say Sa is in 5th house so there is full delay and delay and as per that country delay is say 30 years or after then such things also should be kept in mind. At the same time you also should keep in mind certain charts where Venus is spoilt with no check of Guru or say benefic dristi (Guru with less bindus in SAV) then in such cases depending on other factors of the chart such person himself might not want to marry and just may have intention only to have fun and not commit. The whole chart must be studied. For that laws have been given in the lessons. With the aid of the Worksheet you can narrow down the time. This is not only for marriage but for all events of life. Yes, many charts have been solved in the past and in the archives however I do not have time todo searches right now. Maybe you can search the archives for the same. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Thank you Ash. I'll ponder on your letter a little bit n see if I can understand the reasoning.
