I am interested in learning Asthavarga, In your lesson one 1, your distributing point to different planets across the house.. Just I want to know how your are distributing points.. Say Ju is located in 12th house then for Ju's points start from 12th house and start to distribute points. I had taken an example in the list and it will be in the archives and have explained it in a step by step fashion. It will be a good idea to check the archives of the list. Guest guest Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 hello sir, Even iam a another new member.I can't understand what u said now and even the example that i see in the lesson 1.iam breaking my head and idon't understand how u get points . for example normally the table u have given shows this. sun gets 3 points in first house,3 in 2nd,3 in 3rd, 4 in 4th,so on 2 5, 4, 3, 5, 6, 7,and 3 in 12th house. but in example chart sun gets ponts as 4 in first house,1 in 2nd,4,5,3,4, 3, 4, 5, 6, 4,and 5in 12th house. how do u consider from natal position and how do u disturbute points. how???how??? i also saw down the first lesson in example..u said sun in 12th gets 5 points and moon in 7th house gets 5 points that also is not understood. please please be clear. if we don't understand first lesson only we cannot go to next lessons sir. regards, hari. But rest assured this infact is very important concept. Now, our KAS2005 Excel program computes all this for you. If you cast your Chart in the program (which incidentally if you are not aware you can downlaod from http://krushna.sageasita.com ). It will compute SAV, Worksheet for all houses, D-Charts and also Summarises it. So all this time consuming work has been done for you and this System of KAS has been made much simpler to grasp. This just takes me back to when Krushaji had said that how difficult it was and how much concentration one needed to do all these computations by hand first even before attempting to start to decipher the chart. Ravi, Let me try again and let me try to explain the logic. Say when you are considering yogas like say Gaj Kesari Yog you say as per Vedic astrology that when Moon is in 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th HOUSE from Ju then its gets power or it makes a FAVOURABLE YOG. Now Open Lesson 1. Go to Moon's BAV and Maharishi has allocated Moon 49 benefic points. Now these 49 points are distributed by 7 planets and Lagna. So here we are checking how other planets i.e. 7 planets and Moon w.r.t lagna are making yogs. Now take a chart where Moon is in 12th house and assumme Sun is in 6th house. Now our aim is to see how the points are distributed w.r.t the natal position. So here Sun in chart is in 6th house. So from Sun's position in Natal chart i.e. from 6th house, Sun distributes Moons points i.e. gives favourable poitns to 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th house. Means Sun will give a bindu to 8th house (3rd from 6th), 11th house (6th from 6th), 12th house (7th from 6th), lagna (8th from 6th), 3rd house (10th from 6th) and 4th house (11th from 6th). So if Moon in in any of the above house it will Make a Favourable Yog with Sun. So now in your case Moon is in 7th from Sun. So et Voila Here Mo and Su make a favourable Yog. Such yog might be given some name in Vedic Astrology. Now next we check How Moon distributes its power to 12 houses. So in our pseudo example Moon is in 12th house of the chart. So Moon distributes a FAVOURABLE BINDU to 1st house where Moon is placed in, 3rd house from moon, 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th house from where Moon is placed. So here Moon will give power to 12th house (were moon is placed), 2nd house (3rd from 12th), 5th house (6th from 12th hosue where moon is placed), 6th house (7th from 12th), 9th hosue (10th from 12th) and 10th house (11th from 12th). like that do for the rest i.e. mars, me, ju, ve, sa and lagna. So u will get all planets and lagna how they distribute Moons 49 benefic points. Next u do that for Sun and see how 7 planet and lagna the points are distributed. Finally you sum it up and u will get SAV. Acually when you compute SAV you have in short computed ALL YOGS THAT ARE IN RELATION WITH EACH OTHER and also w.r.t lagna including their cotras. Then special things that are not considered are covered in the WS thereby we get the EXACT POWER of the planets for all 12 houses and in numerical formal so its easy to find the power of each significator.
