a chart for study---Ash and others

Dear Ash and senior members,

Let me first make it clear that I am trying to analyse this chart to

learn and as Ash told me to post charts in the groups so that it can

be a learning experience for everyone. I would request Ash and other

members to guide me through.

Lets look at the chart if it has any zeroes: one zero

Saturn is in the tenth house aspecting venus, House B, House D, and

House E for seventh. So I would consider there is definitely delay due

to Saturn but how much? I remember you mentioning that Saturn causes

full delay when is in 5th house and aspects houses A, B and C. But

here its not aspecting ABC, but B, D and, E.

ok, now lets check for jupiter: Jupiter is in 7th with 4 points. In

lessons it is mentioned that Jupiter causes delay if jupiter is either

in 7th or aspecting 7th, but will the delay be due to jupiter with

less points or with even high points? SO will there be delay

considered in this case?

I will try to analyse it further with guidance after I get my doubts

cleared and will try to look for the stongest significator etc.

Dear Manoshi,

Delay is caused when Sa aspects house A,B,C or their lords in rasi or navamsa. There is no effect if Sa aspects House D or E.

Ju causes delay if its aspect 7th house, 7th lord and 2nd lord or 2nd house but both together. Now if Ju is LoD or LoE then it may not cause delay.

The lagna of this chart is at borderline.

as you say Ash, lets take the 1936 chart.

there is a mistake in the time I gave : it should be 11:45 p.m.

(23:45)

To time the marriage, Saturn is in 10th house and is aspecting house

B (but not A or C) and lord of A. Jupiter is in house B and is

aspeting house C but is also the lord of C and is aspecting lord of

B (Mars) as well. SO should there be a delay due to jupiter? so to

summarize:

there being one zero in the chart ( delay in the period of marriage

antra), Saturn aspecting House B and lord of A, and jupiter in

house C there should be a definite delay...but how much? Saturn is

not giving full delay, Jupiter may not even give delay ( no

connection with house A or lord of A), so how much is the delay?

Could you please break down how you judge the delay or guide me to

the lesson where it is mentioned. after the dobts being clarified,

the stongest significator etc can be looked at...

This is the data I am getting now for the lady born 19th August 1936

at calcutta at 23:45.

Now here is my attempt.

Sa is in 10th house from there its aspecting House B and Ju who is

LoC and Me in 4th house so there is full delay in this chart due to

Sa.

Ju is in 7th house but its not touching 2nd lord Mercury so Ju is

not delay causing in this case.

Now there is 1 zero in venus due to Venus. This is a rare

combination and its given somewhere in lesson that Venus is the only

planet that can give a 0 in 10th house.

Lagna and 7th have 33/23 points in SAV.

Lagna/7th are in 2:12, sun and 7th are in 1:7, Moon and 7th are in

4:10, Ma and 7th are 6:8 and Ve and 7th are in 1:7 in Rasi.

In Navamsa

Ve and Sa are in 4:10, Sa and Su are in 2:12, Mo and Sa are in 5:9,

Ju and Me are in 2:12.

6th lord is in 4th house with 4 bindus. Here Ve is also lagna

lord. Ve again is in neecha sign in navamsa. Its in upchaya from

6th and in 4th from 1st.

LoA, LoD are SD to 6th lord.

3:6:10:11 points from lagna, sun and moon are in zig zag manner.

Venus has 0 in 10th house. 10th house also has 27 points in SAV.

12th power in SAV is more than 11th. So more spending trend.

Lagna and 9th lords are in 1:7 in rasi and 4:10 in navamsa.

Now calculating the delay and marriage period.

Sa is at 28Aq45 so about 25 years 2 or 3 months delay is there

approximately and say about 5-8% delay due to Venus. So when delay

period is over Mercury antra is running in Rahu Md.

Rahu is SD to Me who is 2nd lord so karak. So Rahu's MD will give

marriage.

Me antra is on at the end of delay period and at that time Sa is

transitting the natives 10th house so there maybe probems in the

family around that time and some stress related to that.

Mercury is most powreful significator and its Karak and placed in

House D with 5 bindus. Yes its SD to Venus so it may give the event

but not full happiness from it.

So marriage may take place in Rahu/Me MD and Antra i.e 1964-Feb-10

to 1966-Aug-29.

Dear Manoshi,

A correction please read that during Me antra Sa was transitting her

10thhouse where Venus has 0 points so problems coming via 1st and

6th house lord so 1st is karak for 6th and 6th is for 11th. So some

problems w.r.t. 6th and 11th house and Ve is NK for 7th and 12th.

So quite possible that after marriage the couple might not be able

to be togther or some issues around the above houses.

I want to understand this concept...how do you judge the percentage

of delay?

She got married in January 1961.

She was away from her husband for 3 months after marriage. She has

a good married life (the charts of husband and wife have saturn/rahu-

mars in conjunction, mars-venus do not overlap or are not in

conjunction but are in 5:9)

Dear Manoshi and Ramesh,

Thanks for the feedback. I have explained this umpteen times in the past about when Delay of Saturn gets over. Its in the archives. If you can look it up or someone can look it up for u it will be good.

Right now we have just been advised to roughly consider delay for each 0 as 10%. Exact computations have not been given by Krushnaji so far. I beleive the exact delay for 0 might be based on Speed of the planet.

For now I am using approximate vaues and for delay that Jupiter creates one has to be careful. The exact calculations again Krushnaji has not given us maybe in time he will give us but for now again I am using approx values based on my experience for now.

Can you answer 3 Question for me please.

1) The 11:45 pm time is it LMT or IST?

2) How confident are you of this birth time?

3) What would be called delayed marriage back in Calcutta in 1936?

Dear Ash,

the time is as recorded on that day (on 19th august 1936 ) and the

time is 100% right. In West Bengal, in 60's later than 21-22 would

be considered as late marriage. So the lady in consideration gor

married late according to those days.

Dear Manoshi,

Yes, Correct. So 22 years was delayed marriage back then and add

delay of Ve of say 5-10% so delay period gets over when Ju antra

starts.

Ju antra can give marriage. It is powerful.

So here desh/kaal/paatra principal should be applied.

This way you can solve charts, and learn from your mistakes and use

then or keep it in mind when solving other charts.

So in theory we say that there was full delay which there was but

here I missed to apply the desh/kaal/paatra principal that was most

probably discussed in a discussion and Krushnaji had used that in

Late Peterji's chart when solving it too then as per WS we picked up

the proper significator to furnish the event.

This was good learning for me,

Dear Ash and Manoshi with list members,

This has reference to the native born on 19-Aug-1936.Once you know the time of event it becomes very simple to justify the event. I was also going through the analysis of this chart during my leisure period and I too find the full delay period and marriage could have happened in Rahu-Mer.But Manoshi is telling the event period in Rahu-Jup.So this is the point where we have to learn a lot.Second thing she is telling happy married life on the contrary I found disturbed married life.Still I have to raise the following points .the answers to those points is expected from Ash.

1) I am getting lagna as 19 Ta 16 whereas Ash is getting lagna as 19 Ta 13, difference of 03 min.We r using the same program. Longitudes of other planets are exactly same.

2) Why Ve and Sa combination in D9 is considered as 4:10 ?

3) How Ra is SD to Me, is it due to D9 Lagna lord ?

4) Ve is in upachaya from 6H in rasi chart. Why sixth house is focussed here ?

Now I am trying to justify the reason for marriage in Jup antra. I do not know I may be wrong also.Ash is here to correct me and teach me. Jup. is occupying 7H a house under consideration. Jup has acquired 4 bindus in house B which is just a neutral point and his aspect on lagna, LoB and house C .These all houses are upachaya houses from lagna.Marriage took place at the age of 25 years which is with a little delay according to Desh/Kaal/Paatra.

Now coming to the point of disturbed married life. When we consider the 100 point scale for marriage we are getting only 25 points which is very low from 50 points. According to Krushna ji's notes 25 points is an indicator of many disputes and differences of opinion for marriage.

Lastly I am giving a birth details of a male native who was born on 31-Jul-1946,

08-00 AM at 24 N 46, 84 E 23 in India.Time zone is 5:30. Birth time difference may be +03 min.Can you please try the date of marriage ?

Dear Ash,

Delay period calculated by you is having some mistake. It should be 22 yrs 7 months. So marriage can be after that period in strong significator. (Sa Aq 28:45) Time should be Capricorn start.

What am I missing.

This is the calculation I did.

27.5 years is full delay. Saturn has transitted 28 deg 45 in Sign.

So total delay will be 27.5 - 2 years 3 months or so = 25 year 3

months Approximately

How are you getting 22 years and 7 months ?

Can you please guide me.

Dear Krushnaji,

I re-read your email.

You have mentioned that time start should be at begining of Capricorn. I agree.

At 22 years and 7 months Saturn is at 14 Sag 30 so still not at 0 deg capricorn.

Still Sa has to transit 15 deg 30 degrees more so atleast over 1 more year it has to transit to reach Capricorn.

On 25th Jan 1961 Sa reaches 0Cp5. So the exact age of the Native at that time is 24 years and 8 month and 24 days.

So I am still not getting how did you compute the date to 22 years and 7 months when Sagittarius is at 14 Sag 30.

Please Guide me.

I have calculated oraly, assuming that you not considered Cap 00 degree entering Sa in Cap, so deducted 2.5 yrs from your delay period.

so you can find the date when Sa enters Cap. tHERE MASY BE DIFFERENCE OF 13 DAYS.

Here one more question that I was not very clear on was that in this chart Venus has 0 power in 10th house.

Here do we add the delay of Venus? With this calculations the marriage happened after delay of Shani got over. Manoshi has given that marriage of this native happened in January 1961.

Now If I add delay of Venus then delay will increase taking it beyond the delay period.

Can you say a little bit more on the delay due to 0 points due to Ve and should it be considered? If not what is the reason?
