Guest guest
Hello everyone, Thank you Ash for your kind patience! Given the new lesson 6, I use a formulary that Juan Revilla has given on Astrolog_List (Astrolog_List/) to compute KAY. It only needs Julian dates avalaible through the ephemeris or our softwares for example. Since the formulary is for 2000, it uses the precession rate Krushna gave (51 " ) for that century, the variation to be added for a century (0.044 " ) and a constant that has to be computed for 2000 (2.052192499 " ). Given the data in lesson 6, I get rather good enough results for years 1900-2100. Probably the formula can be used before and after that. Of course if Krushna wish to give us more precise values we can optimize our formula. It is written in french, but with a good translation module (such as Babel fish), everyone will be able to understand it easily. Here is the link. http://cf.geocities.com/alchocoden/KAY.html -- Best regards, François
