Please find out the event,His birth details are DOB- 20 Oct 1954, TOB-00:16 hrs, POB-Muradnagar, India 28 N 47, 77 E 29. His Asc is 12 Cn 53. He is running with Ketu antara in Sun MD and 1st sector. Please go through the Md and its antara.Find out what houses are signified by antara lord.Then try to approach the nearest date with the help of PDF and transit of Sun. Perhaps you may judge the event.At least try.Don't worry for wrong or right guessing. Birth time of the native is correct. The main period lord is Sun who has ownership of 2nd house, so matters should be related to family which you confirmed. Sub period is Ketu which is more like Mars has less points for all the houses except 1st house. So this may not be happy event. Mars rules 5th(children or venture) and 10th house(status). Mars is E for 12th and E for 5th. On Feb 8th 2006, Sun transiting Dhanishta nakshatra ruled by Ma and sign lord being Saturn (one of the pdt planet) caused the loss of his son. Natal chart Ketu is in Gemini which is 12th lord of the native. 5th house is already spoiled because of 12th lord Venus in B=5. Sun and Sat being PDF lord is also in the Libra making them as 12th lord for B=5. I also generally try to stay away from death analysis and Hope I am wrong in this case. I do not understand why people are afraid of death once everybody know it is an eternal truth and once everybody has to face it. Rahu is in Jupiter sign and Rahu star. So Ketu would represent Mercury and Jupiter. Ketu in Gemini 12th house. In 12th, Mercury has 5 points and Jupiter has 2 points and so Ketu is more like Mercury. There are so many SDs such as Functionmal SD to MPL Sun are Mercury and Saturn. Natural SD to Sun are Moon, Mars. SPL Mercury SD to Ketu is SD to Sun, Saturn, Sun and Moon are SDs in Navamsha, Jupiter and Moon are SDs etc etc.. Mercury has 18 points for 11th house (7th marriage to 5th) as NK. For 11th, Saturn has highest points and SD to Mercury & Sun and Mercury next second highes. Moon with 5 points in 1st is also SD to Mercury having same points of 5 in 4th. On 8 Febraury 2006, Sun transitted in Capricorn in Saturn sign and Moon star ( not Mars star as given by Bala). So it may be marriage of daughter. It may not be death of son, since 12th (8th to 5th) has got less points than 7th (3rd to 5th) for Sun and Mercury. Also taking 7th house for accident (even heart attack) for the person 18 points and Mercury is LoE and Sun in E. Mercury has maximum points 23 for 7th and LoE. Also to 8th house to person Mercury is Karaka, SD to Sun and Sub lord. So it may be accident to him and death.Ofcourse again the 8th and 3rd house points re to be compared. Sun is FK to 7th and 9th, 7th wife and 9th is 8th to 8th karaka for death of wife. LoD for 9th is Saturn is SD to Sun MPL and Mercury SPL. Thus it may be death of wife also.Ofcourse again the points for 8tth and 3rd to 7th are to be compared. On 8 Feb 2006, the SAV points are 200 and Jupiter+Saturn=8 and I do not know whether to take this as beneficial to the even, if it is death. There may be other events also, even deaths, if we consider other members of the family like wife, father, mother , sibbling etc., which would be a Herculean task to scan all those events of all the family members. May be it is possible if it is restricted to one person of the family. So when many planets are SDs to one another, the event cannot be predicted and it can only be a guess. One thing for sure his status was changed becoz of this event.. lost the status as son. if you take 9th as father's asdt, then the native 4th becomes 8th for his father which is malefic becoz of Me is 12th lord in B=8.
