Guest guest
Greetings Everyone, I used KAS 2005 (v2.2.1) to calculate my birthdata and it gave an ayanamsa of 22:46:8, which only differs from Lahiri by about 35 minutes. When I use Krushnaji's mathematical formula I get an ayanamsa of 22:17:35, a difference of 1 degree 1 minute and 37 seconds [much closer to the 1:1:40 that Krushnaji suggests we subtract from Lahiri in JHora 7.02, the program I use]. The SAV and individual BAV's do not appear to differ at all, so the Planetary Strength Worksheets calculated in KAS 2005 appear to be accurate. However, the Dasa periods in KAS begin approximately 22 to 23 days later than the ones provided by JHora. Am I correct in thinking that this difference can effect the determination of Kakshyas? I am thinking that I should trust my math since it is almost identical to Krushnaji's suggestion of the 1:1:40 deduction. Any comments or suggestions? Peace and Blessings, olusanya
Guest guest
Dear Olusanya, The proper value you will get from KAS2005 program that u can download from Donna's website. http://krushna.sageasita.com You can also get the values from the lesson. The difference between lahiri and KAY is about 54 mins i.e. KAY is about 54 minutes less than Lahiri. The accurate values u can get from KAS2005 program for your birthdate. Cheers !!!
