I'm not sure which house and it's Upchaya houses I should use to determine the timing of a car accident or near death experience. Can someone suggest which house and Upchaya houses to use? I'm thinking the 4th [favorable or unfavorable luck, because ordinarily it signifies vehicles], or the 3rd [longevity and health]. Here is the birthdata if anyone is interested in an exercise. 9/28/1961 8:20am Jacksonville, NC 77 W 25 , 34 N 45 The accident occurred when they were 26 years old [1986], in the month of Oct. It is my understanding that Mars in the 1st house can be an indicator of accidents, Saturn in the 4th can be an indicator of trouble with vehicles. This leads me to think that their transits will be a factor. In fact, the accident occurred during the Saturn sub-period of Rahu's Mahadasa. Any help woll e greatly appreciated. MD should have relation to 2nd lord and not to 3rd lord as this did not result in death. 7th house is that of accident. Cheers !!! In this instance there are no planets in the 7th house, which is ruled by Mars or the 2nd house, also ruled by Mars. The MD was Rahu, the AD was Saturn. I'm struggling to find a relationship, other than Mars and Saturn aspecting each other. Also, according to some sources that give Rahu aspects, it aspects the 7th house. Our KAS WS gives us exact power of planet and how that planet will act in all 12 houses. If there is some loss of property or vehicles then during that antra its possible that the power of planet is less in 4th house and that is as per WS. If there is accident then 7th house is playing a role. If MD lord is linked to 2nd house it can be accident. If Md is related to 3rd house also then it might cause death if power of the same planet is high in 8th house or if its LoD or LoE. If Sa is 4th and 5th lord and it has less power in 7th house then its LoD for 7th as well as LoD for 8th house. If MD is related to 2nd house or its SD then there might be accident which might take a person close to death. All this will get clear once u read the lessons. We study power of planets from lagna and 7 houses i.e. Ashtakvarg and then based on SAV we create WS which takes into factor many things. Cheers !!! I am going through the lessons, but some of the concepts are not clear to me, so I ask questions hoping that someone will be able to clarify them for me. I realize that for someone who has experience in this system some of my questions may seem very elementary, but they are all for the purpose of increasing my understanding of Jyotish.
