Will he win the Music Competition?

Dear Ash and others,

Here is an interesting case for prediction for winning an All India music

(vocal Hindi songs) competition on 19 April 2006. The winner will get honor,

money, car, music contract. The selection is by Indian masses by phone and SMS

after listening to their songs. There is a Luck factor also involved since there

can be regional preferences in the voting pattern. Almost all houses will come

into play.

I have tried my analysis with my limited knowledge of KAS. Please correct it

and give your analysis.

In today’s 5 April 2006 competition two persons are selected. The final

selection is on 19 April 2006.

I have biodata of one person : DoB 1 March 11986, ToB 9 AM, PoB Hyderabad 17 N

23, 78 E 29.

Rasi: Aries lagna, Rahu in Aries; Moon, Ketu in Libra; Mars, Saturn in

Scorpio; Sun, Jupiter, Venus in Aquarius; Mercury in Pisces. Lagna 1deg40min

Navamsa: Aries lagna; Venus, Rahu in Gemini; Mercury Leo; Saturn Scorpio;

Jupiter, Ketu in Sagittarius; Mars Capricorn; Moon Aquarius; Sun Pisces

Present dasa Jupiter MD- Rahu AD from 8 Sept 2004 to2 Feb 2007. The 3rd sector

is from 16 April 2006 to 2 Feb 2007.

Rahu in Mars sign & Ketu star; Ketu in Venus sign & Rahu star. Venus has 3

points and Mars 2 points in Aries and so Rahu represents more as Venus. So Venus

is considered as AD in Summary table.

In WS, Venus has got more than 12 points in all houses except 12th (11 points

less loss and misery). Venus is LoD for 5th & 10th and LoE for 2nd & 9th. So

Venus is capable of giving success in competition (1st, 6th), money (2nd),

contract (3rd), vehicle & happiness (4th) luck (5th & 9th), honor (10th),

fulfillment of desire, gains & income (11th). Of course 8th (defeat, sorrow,

obstacles) has 13 points but mostly less than other houses points.

Venus is SD to Saturn & Jupiter in Rasi and Mercury in Navamsa and these have

got high points in 6th WS to help Venus.

Sun has zero in 1st and Mars has zero in 7th in SAV. Saturn aspects 10th as B

and A & C. I do not know how these would affect.

On 19 April 2006, the SAV points are 186 and Jupiter + Saturn=7., which does

not indicate favorable environment. In PDF Sun transit is in Mars- Ketu from 14

to 27 April, Mars is second highest after Venus but less than 12 points & Ketu

represents Venus.

I do not have the biodata of the second person to compare. But taking the 7th

house of this person as that of opponent, the 7th house and 1st house for Venus

have equal points (12 each) and it can be expected there will be equal and tough

competition.

So, in general, in Venus AD, he has got a chance to win the competition. due

to Luck factor inspite of not having very favorable environment, Sun transit and

tough competition.

Assuming an error in TOB, even if we take TOB as 8:54 AM it looks the AD Venus

is favorable.

Dear Pemmaraju,

For daily points its very important to study the trend.

Say even if say one day points are 156 and next day its 158 means

upward trend, so it means that the person will feel better off as

compared to the previous day. Yes, the points are in the RED (<

197) so overall thigns may not be under his control.

Now here one other thing is there which is that the antra running is

of 2nd lord Venus i.e its Rahu and Rahu is SD to Ma and Ve and its

more like Venus.

So there will definitely be worries and with points in red and sa

and ju = 7 so overall very worrysome period which might be true as

its a major compition and being one of the finalist it must be very

difficult on the native.

Now Mo is with Ketu and opposite is Rahu and Ma is in own sign so

this native must be striving for perfection and must be energetic.

2 sectors are in Sa and 3 in Ju i.e. lagna , sun and moon in

navamsa, dreshkon and trishansa.

2nd lord is in upchaya, 10th lord is in upchaya, 11th lord is in

Thank you Ash for sparing your time to give your analysis.

Sun zero in 1st & Mars zero in 7th and now Sun 5th lord transiting in 1st and

Jupiter 9th lord transiting in 7th.I do not know ,as per KAS, this may not be

favorable for luck.

I understand that South Indians who do not see generally Hindi programs are

not participitating in votings and this boy from Hyderabad from South India has

a disadvantage. Others from other parts would generally prefer to vote for the

candidate from their regions. I have seen the program and me being a music lover

can definitely say that this boy is really talented and good singer and even the

judges there say the same.Of course who bothers for the talent nowadays here

generally.It is possible to manipulate the masses to vote by some means. Sorry

for this unnecessary discussion.

Let us wait and see what happens. I will inform as soon as I know the result.

Dear Ash,

The final competetion is postponed from 19th to 22nd April 2006 till 8:45 PM.

The public votes will be accepted till then and in a live concert the result

will be announced after that.As you had pointed out the daily points going down

after 18th, it looks that he may not come through successful.As I had already

told you, that the trend of voting may not be in his favour since he is from

South India(Hyderabad, that is how we are interested and also he is son one of

employees of Defence lab whom I know & where I worked earlier))and many would

not see Hindi Misic programs in South Inida and care to take pains to vote,

compared to North Indian voters who would very much vote for the other candidate

who is from Rajasthn .

Just see once more if time permits.Let us see what happens, though the chances

seem to be lesser.

I will post the result as soon I know.

Thank you for posting the chart details of NC Karunya. Though I do not

follow Indian Idol2, I know he is from Hyderabad.

Ketu is the Yogi

05:22 Degrees in Sagittarius is the Yogi point.

Rahu is the Avayogi

Jupiter is the duplicate Yogi

In his chart the dasha will be Jupiter-Rahu-Jupiter-Jupiter-Rahu on the said

day and time. Jupiter is the duplicate yogi and in its own nakshatra

(vishakha) in transit. Rahu in the chart is in the lagna in a nakshatra

ruled by Yogi. Jupiter is in the nakshatra of Rahu, which is the avayogi.

However, since the avayogi itself is in Yogi nakshatra and so is the

ascendant, it should bring the desired result after many a doubts.

Antardasha lord Rahu is 3rd from Mahadasha lord Jupiter and that should

bring auspicious results.

In all, it is my view that NC Karunya will win the Indian Idol 2 today. Only

if the grahas in other contestants chart is stronger, will Karunya lose.

With two Vipreet Raja Yoga in his chart, I do not think he will lose.

Dear Bharat,

Jupiter's generally winning position is weakened by depositing ine

of star Rahu and sublord Mars.

Current transit Jupiter and Rahu are passing in favorable stars and

subs at 1 & 1/2 hr before the competion starts.

However, anthra dasa lord Rahu is pulling his lag to wing by

representing Moon & Mars. Let us wait and see.

Hello

I have just read the messages posted by Ash, PemmaRaju, Bharat and tw.

As I was reading through the messages I considered one point thats to be

noted reading competitions such as IndianIdol.

Theres gonna be hectic activity for the finalists. Though I havent checked

through the KAS worksheet, I consider that the lowering in the trend of

transit points show more of hectic mind activity. The lowering of the trend

neednt by default mean losing the competition. The analysis of 6th house

might give more information reagarding the situation as the workload gonna

increase for the winner(thus increase in mind activity).

Ofcourse I have presented an opinion on a very general point. I havent

viewed the KAS worksheet yet.

It seems like Rahu did its work here. Sandeep Acharya has become the next

Indian Idol. Karunaya lost. I was hoping for Jupiter's transit through its

own nakshatra in the Chandra lagna. However, as it is retrograde, it let him

down.
