The lords of the house where its placed in navamsa have a say in profession. Say for example, Aries is lagna, Moon is in Taurus and Sun is in Gemini. The 10th lords From Lagna is Shani. The 10th lord from Moon is Shani The 10th lord from Sun is Guru. Now find out where Shani and Guru are placed in Navamsa. Lets assume Shani is at 3deg20 in Capricorn and Say Guru is placed in first 3deg20 in Cancer. So it means that Shani will be in navamsa of Capricorn and Guru will be placed in navamsa of Cancer. So find the lords so here its Sa and Moon. So the profession will be Sa and Mo. So maybe a person might be linked to say chemical or say agriculture irritation etc etc etc. For finding out business, I think that is given in the lesson of occupation, also the WS points are important, you also have to judge the intellegence of the person, nature, if he is a risk taker etc etc etc. Cheers !!! In this chart, the 10th lords from Asc, Moon and Sun and their respective positions in D9 are as follows - Asc - 10th lord is Moon - lord of navamsa's position is Mars Moon - 10th lord is Jup - in Moon's navamsa Sun - 10th lord is Mercury - in Jupiter's navamsa. So, Mars, Moon, and Jupiter should define the occupation. For the jewelry business, I would have hoped to see Venus as one of the significators above. AS per your analysis you can say that the profession can be linked to Ma, Mo and Ju and there are many permutations and combinations. Still, my question stands. How do u know that the birth chart is accurate? Have you taken any concrete steps to investigage that. What if this chart details are not accurate, then where do you stand? Maybe all your analysis u did is perfect and pin point, however if the chart is wrong, does it make your predictions wrong? Does it demoralise you or confuse u even more? Ask questions, time marriage, job, good periods and bad periods, period where income would be less than expenses (11th v/s 12th). See DBCE points, see status of planets, see intellegence, study the education, study periods of ill health etc. Then firm up the chart in your mind and if all events are coming in the ball park then carefully proceed further. If things do not match, atleast you have given it your best shot and in such a case, point it out or if the person insists that the time is accurate, then accept our limitations as astrologer and do not venture further.
