As per Jagannatha hora 7.0 version - a software available on the net, offered by SJC group, a vedic astrology group, I am getting different lagnas. for 5.08 and 5.10 am timings. 5.08=vrischika, 5.10= Dhanur. But I am not sure why it differs. I appreciate your guidance and reference to the other URL sites for rectification methods. I will look into the sites given by you, and work on my data for confirmation. Perhaps due to lack of confidence, I am looking for endorsement from others as my exposure to astrology is pretty recent/limited. Hopefully I can get over the mental block slowly. But I do understand other people's time constraints also, as this could be a hobby for many in addition to their regular jobs. Guest guest Posted May 6, 2006 Report Share Posted May 6, 2006 Dear Aruna, The reason I asked u to cast your chart using KAS2006 is that because it gives us all the parameters that we use and as taught by Krushnaji. No other software gives it directly. For instance, you might not have set the value in JHL to Krushnas ayanamsa. So it might mean that u might not have got the values from the lesson. We do not use prati antar dashsa and other things like that. Our technique to timing might be different. We take the antardashsa and split it into 3 equal parts, called sectors and then we find which sector an event will fall and then use suns transit to narrow it down. This is not given in any software directly. So my suggestion is that if u are using other software, no problems, just make sure u are using it as per the lessons given with the value set to Krushnas ayanamsa. This is done directly using KAS2006 excel program. That way we will be on the same page. Thanks, Cheers !!!
