In anycase, Ash has been posting many emails about the MD lord mentioning about karakatwa etc. You can search the archive and get the info. I did not consider the points of Jupiter for selecting the MD (not sure if we should look at that too) but I took Jupiter as SD to Sun which is phal-karak for 4th house in this case, so selected Jupiter Dasa. It is true that jupiter and sun are in one navamsa here, but jupiter is lord of 6th and hence it should not act as SD to sun. Right? Am I missing something here? Your AD Moon & PDF 27 Sept to 10 Oct are correct, though your MD Saturn is not OK. The Gruhapravesam was done on a VijayaDasami day in Dussera days, may be in Oct/Nov. Jupiter MD is correct. Can you think of any other logic to justify this other than SD to Sun as suggested by Manoshi? I think of one more logic for Jupiter MD. Bala also picked up Jupiter MD and yet to give his logic and let us see what he replies. I hope we are learning something from this quiz. Yes you are right.. but in this quiz we are considering Su as SD to Jupiter. Sun being Karaka(NK) for 4th gave the event. Why are we considering SDship of Sun to Jupiter when we are considering if Ju MD can give event. The point that I can't understand is that Ju cannot act as SD to sun, so in Ju's MD, why is Jupiter giving results for Sun? But there was no plan to construct a house at that time since there were no facilities there. Even when I constructed the house later, there were not much facilities available and mine was the only house in the near vicinity.May be you can say the conception started in Jup-Ven period since I bought a housing plot.in Jup-Ven period. Yes, the reason why I selected Venus antra for conception of your house plot, was due to many reasons. Venus has less power in 2nd house, 11th and negative points in 12th house. Its LoD for 11th and LoD for 4th and also LoE for 3rd and LoE for 8th (research). That time, u must be under a stress of purchase and you must have tightened the screws on your expenses. Now, w.r.t Ju MD for selection for House. Here Ju is SD to Su and Ve. Ve is karak for 1st and 6th and being SD to Su who is karak for 4th and 10th. Here also natural age of person must be seen. Generally in 30's back in those days, or say late 20's more chances for a person to get settled ina job and then think of purchasing a home. This is what u can say, desh, kaal, paatra principle. Ju is related to karaks for 4th, 10th, 6th and 1st house and itself is karak for 5th and 2nd and 10th, 8th and 11th. So during MD of Ju, you might be focussed on all those areas of life also u can consider the nk of sd planets like ve for 12th and 7th too. Which is in line as Ju Md starts in your 26th year of age. So 26th year onwards. So we can say that age when Ju MD started, Ju is SD to Su and Ve. So it will be related or wil have a touch of all those that Ju, Su and Ve are NK and FK for based, keeping in mind the natural age which is common sense in a sort of way. So I hope its clear. Its Karak for 11th, its C for 2nd house its D for 9th and E for 1st. So, for say marriage event, then planets SD to Ju might have touch of 6th lord so it might not be eager to give a happy event. Think over it. Here in this case, Ju is karak for income and 8th house, research. Its also karak for 10th house as its in 5th house with more bindus. being 6th lord it becomes karak for 11th house.
