Which is correct? What is the method followed for making D-60 chart?( counting clockwise for all rasis/ counting clockwise for odd rasis/ counting anticlockwise for even rasis / counting from Aries clockwise for odd rasis/ counting from Pisces anticlockwise for even rasis / may be any other method, all of them giving different values, not sure which is the correct method !!!) The method to calculate the D60 is to find the oddity. It is also based on the sign in the rasi chart and the degrees within the sign in the rasi chart. So, it may not be absolutely right to classify it as clockwise or anticlockwise. Let me try and explain the method with an example. 1. Let us say position in rasi chart is 10Tau00. 2. So, sign is tau which is 2nd sign. 3. Multiply the degree in the sign by 60. So, we get 10 x 60 = 600. 4. Find the oddity 5a. If oddity is ODD, then position in D60 is (sign - 1)x30 + 600. So, the value is (2-1)x30 + 600 = 630. And 630 degrees means 270 degrees is the value in D60. 5b. If oddity is EVEN, then position in D60 is sign x 30 - 600. So the value is 2x30 - 600 = -540. And -540 degrees means 180 degrees is the value in D60. Now in this case oddity is even being in tau sign, so the value is 180 degrees in D60, that means 0lib0. So, position of 10Tau00 in rasi chart translates to 0lib00 in D60. You can use the above method to find D60 position for any position in rasi chart. Hope that helps. With KAS software version 2.3, I got Cancer lagna for D-60 for twin born of 8:43 AM and Leo lagna for D-60 for twin born in 8:45 AM. With KAS software version 3.0, I got Scorpio lagna for D-60 for twin born at 8:43 AM and Libra lagna for D-60 for twin born at 8:45 AM.and you also got the same. For both versions the Rasi lagna is 20Pi06 and 20 Pi51for ToB 8:43 AM & 8:45 AM respectively. I got confused since there is a difference between the two versions. Please explain the D-60 lagnas for these twins as per the method you have given and confirm which version I have to take. Yes, the timing given for the twins, by your good self is based on cutting of the umbinical chord, and we do go by the baby's first cry. Is there any chance, if possible, can you ask the parents when did the babies cry. As you know that in the span of 2 minutes of cutting the umbinical chord 5 nadis have passed. For elder twin has Mudgara nadi and the younger one who is born after 2 mintues has Mati nadi. So Mudgara, Pasha, Champaka, Damaka and then Mati nadis between 8:43 AM and 8:45 AM. Yes, also for rectification of birth time using KASn (Nadi's as used in KAS) if you can think of any more events, it will be helpful. I checked up and the parents do not know the Cry time, which would obviously be after the given time There are no more events except their features & complexion.They are the first born to their parents after about 8 years of marriage. Yes, the first born twin will have a younger sister and the second born twin will have a elder sister (the twins are females) and the mother had caesarian operation The nadi amshas selected should show that the first born twin is the eldest & of dark complexion and the second one is younger of the twins the eldest being a sister & fair complexion and the times can be after 6 to 7 minutes also from the given times to match this with one change in nadi amsha ,irrespective of whether we know the actual Cry times or not.
