Guest guest
Dear Sirs, I have just joined yesterday. I went thru' the files. The logic seems convincing enough. My question is --- I use J-Hora for astrolgical calculation part. This programme also gives ashtakavarga values (SAV & BAV). Is there any difference between the SAV & BAV values generated by traditional method and KAS ? I mean, can I use the J-Hora for this purpose too as that is very convenient? Also the ashtakavarga systems refer to some sort of corrections (Shodhya pinda etc..). Is it relevant here in this system ? Also there is a PAV values given. What is the significance ? - Looking forward to replies. With best regards

ASH: WE HAVE DESIGNED A PROGRAM FOR KAS BECAUSE NO SOFTWARE GIVES US THE WORKSHEET AND SOME OF THE PARAMETERS WE USE DIRECTLY. YOU CAN USE J-HORA OR ANY OTHER ASTROLOGICAL PROGRAM BUT MAKE SURE YOU SET THE AYANAMSA TO KRUSHNA'S AYANAMSA AND THEN ALSO GO THROUGH THE LESSONS SO U WILL KNOW HOW TO CAST THE WORKSHEET MANUALLY ALONG WITH THE WORKSHEETS OF ALL 16 DIVISIONAL CHARTS. YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE VALUE OF BAV IS SET TO VARAHARAMIRA WHICH IS WHAT WE USE. ALTERNATIVELY, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE KAS2006V3.2.1 PROGRAM FROM DONNA'S WEBSITE WHICH WILL CAST THE CHART ALONG WITH THE PARAMETERS THAT WE USE ON THE LIST AND WE STICK TO THAT SO THAT IT AVOIDS ANY CONFUSION. > > Is there any difference between the SAV & BAV values generated by > traditional method and KAS ? Guest guest
Dear Ash, I have been learning Vedic astrology for about 4 months. I have got understanding of terminology. though virtually no predictive capacity. I have been reading BPHS and some books on Astakvarga. I have found KAS ( on face value quite impressive) and I will give a go with all the material on Donna site. Is there any disadvantage of reading Parashari system texts and Astakvarga and is there any chance that a beginner like will get mixed up. Is there any other reading material I can get from Delhi or Bombay. If any please advise and where can I get it. many thanks cheers kamal - ashsam73 Wednesday, December 06, 2006 3:32 PM Re: Differences between Ashtakavarga systems Dear ?? Guest guest
Dear Kamal, Parasara has also written about Ashtakavarga and so have many other Maharishi's. This particular system that we called KAS, this system is not given in any book, nor there is any book in the market today. This system has been disclosed by Krushnaji to the world. The lessons are given and we have solved so many charts and also Krushnaji himself has written and given us so many clarifications, all of which can be found in the archives. Go though the archives from the start along with the lessons. Good luck in your learnings, Cheers !!!
