However the Worksheet gives us the exact power that will be experienced in the antar dashsa. The worksheet is derived from SAV and includes other parameters such as LoD and LoE, 6th lord, 4:10, aspects etc. Transits of planets in your 8th house then daily points contributed by them would be 37 which is high so maybe your daily points in such cases might be more than 197. So this also gets covered in Transits. Then, you can go deeper and see which planets and lagna (Ashtak) are contributing points to make it to 37. Say Sa is contributing 5 bindus, Ju is contributing 6 bindus then when Sa and Ju come to your 8th house then Sa and Ju points will go to 11 which is very high making environment favourable. Ofcouse this would make it contrary to the general held belief that for all charts, Sa's transit in 8th house from lagna (Ashtam Shani) is always bad. Yes, we will also have to keep in mind the antardasha and the power of that which you can get from WS. It is all given in lessons, so slowly read them and it will all get clear. Actually, once u understand the theory of KAS, KAS actually simplifies VA. Just the other day, I was browsing another list and I came across a post where some discussion was going on about Sa and Mars in 7th house of a chart where the lagna was Capricorn. I think Phaldeepakia was quoted where a person with such a combo would have a chaste wife etc. Now, here, actually, those following KAS, all such things are considered automatically and unknowingly. Now, lets take this case and let me explain. Capricorn lagna so as per KAS , 2nd house is KARAK. KARAK controls the status of House B which is 7th house. House C is Scorpio which is ruled by Mars and LoD is also ruled by Mars i.e Aries which is 4th house. Now Saturn and Mars are in the 7th house means House B. So Karak has come to House B means its in upachya house from 2nd house so status of 2nd house has become good. LoC and LoD are SD to Karak. Now Mars is in 7th house. Generally Mars is with less than 4 bindus, so it will aspect 10th house, 1st house and 2nd house (Karak sthan with more bindus) thereby increasing the power in the WS so again better. Now, as per our basic law, planet with less than 4 bindus is malefic for the house it is in. Here Mars will become LoD for 7th so here it will not affect House B. So, now combining all, LoD, LoC are SD to Karak and Karak itself is in upachaya so status of 7th house has increased. Similarly, you can think or assume, what if Mars is with more than 4 bindus in 7th house and SD to Sa. In that case, it will aspect 10th house, 2nd house and 1st house malefically, however still it wont affect 2nd house, as for 2nd house its aspect cant be malefic as it rules House D. Similarly for 10th house, its not LoD or LoE so its aspect will be malefic but at the same time it is in House D with more bindus so there will be compensation so it will nullify. So, overall reflection will become clear in the Worksheet and one does not have to bother about such individual combinations. Gulabo, one thing, Astakavarga is very precise and we do a lot of calculation and computations even before we can start to predict, and that also makes the predictions very precise and to strife for perfection is never easy. I do not think, there is any system there that gives crystal clear numeric values for all 12 house of Rasi and all 12 houses of all 16 D charts which is always the challenge for any jyotisha is how to find the power of each house let alone each and every house of all 16 D charts.
