Trying to understand the house system in KAS

Hi Ash or Manu,

I am trying to practically apply the principles given in the notes and

have been confused. Until ofcourse I can practically apply them to my

chart and know what they mean I think it would be hard for me to pick

up the system.

 

So I need your assistance and help in following a certain aspect of my

chart so I can see what is the way to work through a particular chart.

 

Consdering I want to see my marriage as to what period it will happen.

 

I am trying to understand and (if Ive understood correctly) that one

has to look at the 3,6,10th and 11th from the 7th house. So basically

the upachaya from the 7th house and the planets or the lords of these

houses. Then which ever is the strongest would yield the result

provided this planet is not aspecting the signifactor houses.

 

By the same token when I apply this to my chart (aries acedent) my 7th

house is libra and hence so the 3rd to this is saggi (jupiter), 6th is

piseas(again Jupiter) 10th cancer (moon) and 11th is leo (sun) but

with jupiter situation in it with 5 bindus

 

Now if I understand this system correctly, I turn to my workbook and

click the Tab H7 in the excel file which apprently treats the 7th

house as house B and gives the strengths of all the planets in which I

see moon having the highest strength followed by jupiter, however

jupiter aspects the 9th house with his 5th aspect which is the 3rd

house from 7th (so a signifcator to the upachaya) hence that leaves

moon to give the results.

 

So does that mean I get married during moon dasa which does not make

any sense since that would start in 2019 and I would be close to 40

years of age

 

So can kindly someone walk me through the system on how to apply the

rules in a step wise fashion rather than suggesting I turn to notes

since I have and honestly a bit confused but would like to give this

sytem an honest chance to learn and see its value and I need some

practical feedback.

 

 

P.S another point of confusion was when I was reading in the notes it

said to study the matters of marrage to treat house 2 as house B or

the main house and then see the upachayas from this house.

 

I wonder which is right and which is wrong.

 

So if someone can kindly guide it would be much appreciated.

Another follow up to my pervious post.

 

If I treat H2 as B for marriage, my 3rd is cancer (moon) 6th is

(libra) 10 is cap and 11 is pices (jupiter)

 

however looking at the strongest signifiactor amogest these which is

venus (this is from the H2 tab in excel) again that period falls way

beyond logical sense for my marriage.

 

So that does not work either.

Dear Amit,

 

You are getting confused. I think you are trying to hurry up too much

and mixing up things. I would suggest that you read the lessons again

carefully and slowly.

 

For marriage 7th house is considered as B, not 2nd house. 2nd house is

karak for marriage. So, B is 7th, A will be 2nd, D will be 4th, E is

12th and C is 11th. 7th lesson shows how to construct WS for marriage

and it is explained in much detail there. Please read that lesson

carefully.

 

You are taking B as 2nd for marriage and that is incorrect.

 

Again, go slow and prefer not to start with your chart.

Dear Manu,

As mentioned in my previous post I had also tried setting the 7th

house as B.

 

The reason I am trying to study my own chart is because thats the best

way I can understand a system. I am quite well versed with the

parashara and jaimin since IVe been practicing astrology since I was

10 years of age. However stumbling on this website I decided to see

how accurate the krushana system was and hence needed to understand

it. i feel only if I can understand my own chart and convience myself

of its accuracy can I learn it. Also I am in the best position to

judge my life and how it is heading hence if I analyze my own chart it

will give me a better understanding of the system intially for me to

learn it well.

 

So coming back to your advice.

 

1. I placed my 7th house as B and computed the powers through the

excel sheet.

 

2. Lord of D, E happen to by moon and jupiter.

 

Now usually the lords of D and E as I take it will go to produce the

results if they are poweful (Above 12 points in the chart) in my case

moon has 22 point and jupiter has 20 points.

 

However if I understand this system to any correctness it seems that

jupiter would not give the results since its aspecting one of the

significator houses in this case house 11 from lagna (which is C)

using the upachaya method. Hence its moon bukti that would give me

marriage.

 

However the only problem I see with that is Id be 39 years old lol

and I doubt that I would want to marry then apprently the free will of

mine would not wait that long

 

So I guess that does not leave too much scope in terms of lords of

planets D & E I guess then I would have to fall back on the next line

of reasoning which might be mercury and so on again pushing me in my

mid 30s hence pretty much nothing for the next 10 years in marriage

for me......

 

Suprisinly the true vedic astrology yields different results in terms

of my marriage. I will state that later on once I can get a clear

understanding of this system.

 

I hope you will answer my query and guide me through the system since

I definetely need some guidance in the way of words rather than me

turning to books.

Ok...let me try to involve you. Please answer the following questions.

 

1. Do only LoD or LoE give events for House B or can there any other

planet also that can give results in its antra?

2. Is Sa effecting A, B, C Houses by any means in your chart, be it

from rasi/navamsa or by having any connection with house or lords of

A, B, C?

3. In your WS, which planets will give benefic result for hs7 and

which planets will give malefic result for hs7 in their antra?

4. What is the state of venus in your chart as regarding marriage.

Distance from Sun, nakshatra of ve etc?

5. How many zeroes do you see in your chart and in which houses?

Thanks for your post. My details are

bombay.

 

My acendent is aries.

 

Actually I've been in troubled waters with my career and marriage. In

terms of career, Im an engineer (rather a dual engineer with chemical

and mechanical engineering degrees from a reputed university in canada).

 

However my work involves me in electrical and apprently does not give

me satisfaction or growth (something which we hear all too common in

our astrology fourms) my resons for belief are ketu in 10th house.

There have been views on the fact that my 10th house lord resides in

6th with my lagna lord mars which some folks have considered negative.

 

But I however see it as positive. Simply because saturn gets powerful

in navamasa in own house in kendra secondly. saturn does well in

upachaya and is sitting along with lagna lord in the house or service.

There is stuggle but I see growth along with it. Somehow it is just

not materialising at this stage.

 

However I wouldnt mind learning krushans system and see what it has in

store for my delay in marriage (if that is going to happen) and my

apprent lack of job satisfaction and proper job (since just like

anyone else I would want to gain acceptance for my work and achieve a

higher position based on my education)

Hello Amit,

I took your birth details as 06 Aug 1980, 00:03 AM at Bombay.If this is

correct then I got Asc as 20 Ar 56.

According to this chart your marriage is delayed by the aspect of Sa on Loa ,

LoB and LoC. However this delay is moderateed by the aspect of Ju on Sa in

navamsa.

When the delay was over you were running through Mo antara in Ra

main.Thereefore Mo antara can not give the event.

Next antara is that of Ma who is in 6th house and its SAV points are low for

7th house matter.Moreover Ma contributes zero in 5th house.Therefore Ma also can

not furnish the event of marriage.

moon to give the results.

 

So does that mean I get married during moon dasa which does not make

any sense since that would start in 2019 and I would be close to 40

years of age

sort of a picture to all the theortical knoweldge. I have a few

question if you do not mind answer.

 

1. As I see it Juptier too aspects House C (11th) which is a sig

house for marriage in the rashi chart would this not make it a

problem to get married in jupiter sub. In-spite of it being powerful

I recollect reading a rule in the notes stating that any planet

aspecting the significator houses will not come foward to give the

results? In this case Jupiter aspect sig house C loses power.

 

2. I do not understand what you mean by " When the delay was over you

were running through Mo antara in Ra

main " . How do we compute this delay in other words how does it fall

in the rahu-moon time frame.

 

3. Can you explain who moon and jupiter are samdharmi. I believe both

are in a 4-10 relationship however both jupiter and moon have 5

points so can jupiter act as SD to moon if so how?

Dear Amit,Thanks for taking interest in KAS.Answers to your questions

are given below.It may be wrong also because I am also a learner like

you.

1.Jup is aspecting house C but it is LoD also therefore Ju can give

its result whenever it gets chance.

2.Computaion of delay is given by one of our member in the previos

mail.Kindly go through that link, it will clear your doubt.

3.Mo and Jup are in 4:10 relationship.Though they have equal points

Ju becomes SD to Mo.

I think this is clear to you.

Dear Amit,

When u read the lessons you may find that Lod and LoE always gives benefic

results.In ur chart LoD is Mo and LoE is Ju. So Ju also may give result when its

antara comes into play irrespecive of its aspect on any significant houses.

Currently you are passing through Ma antara in Ra main. Ma is in 12th house

from 7th as B. Ma is weak in WS for 7th house matter with 8 points only. Ma can

not give result for 7th.

Me is your 6th lord and occupy strongly house D thereby spoiling house D.

When your Ju anara starts from 02 Jan 2008 your expenditures may shoot up

compared to your savings or income.

At present your income is high with less effort.

Amit please tell me whether this is correct.

using the upachaya method. Hence its moon bukti that would give me

marriage.

 

However the only problem I see with that is Id be 39 years old lol

and I doubt that I would want to marry then apprently the free will of

mine would not wait that long

 

So I guess that does not leave too much scope in terms of lords of

planets D & E I guess then I would have to fall back on the next line

of reasoning which might be mercury and so on again pushing me in my

mid 30s hence pretty much nothing for the next 10 years in marriage

for me......

 

Suprisinly the true vedic astrology yields different results in terms

of my marriage. I will state that later on once I can get a clear

understanding of this system.

 

I hope you will answer my query and guide me through the system since

I definetely need some guidance in the way of words rather than me

turning to books.

Dear Ramesh,

 

I sort of understand certain things however still need to work myself

on understanding all the relevent house systems.

 

To answer your question about income and career.

 

1. At present I have been totally disatisfied with the job and boss.

In fact I am running through a finanical crisis even at this stage

and have for a long time.

 

To clear that point, I have a huge finanical student loan that I am

paying back after my gradutaion in engineering. Hence I am uable to

save, pay for my rest, living expenses and my loan. So I am in a net

debt (considering my loan payoff which is going to last for a while)

perhaps its the trend in canada and north america where we pay for

our eduction and incur student debt before we start to live life

 

In-fact as of present nothing seems to be going to my liking,

dissatisfaction in career, delay in marriage and finances are all

over the hill. Hence I had made a posting in the fourm just last week

and I am sure u must have read it " terrible finances and career " .

 

So that is the state of affairs as of present.

 

My ideal world just like anyone. Is to be rich, finanically secure

and lead a normal comfortable life. I have been turning to astrology

to seek answers rather as concentrte as possible weather I would be

able to become rich get married and lead a comfortable life.

 

So if you feel that Jupiter antra is going to bring more expenses

than savings I think I am looking for another rough period that has

existed for the last 8 years or so ever since I started my education.

 

Let me know of your thoughts, also let me know how you look at

finances and income (in traditional astrology its artha trikona

houses) which is 2, 6, 11, 10 (for expenses its 12th) what about in

this system.

 

Also if I understood correctly if u see my 11th house it all planets

excpet one have benefic points so wouldnt their antras bring good in

its period for income and gain (considering 11th is considered for

gain and income in this sytem)

Dear Ash,

 

The saturn is transiting in my 5th house with low bindus (16only)

which makes sense. Also 5th house has one 0 contributed by mars and

which shows difficulty.

 

However I have been running into a difficult time with finances since

the past 7 years or so, intially it was education where I had to take

loan and pay of my eduction and now its paying back the loan I took,

my rent, living expenses etc so there is no saving. This has been

going no for a long time.

 

I wanna save and be finanically secure in life.

 

Having seen the 11th house (most planets in there attain benefic

points) so does that mean income will be good.

 

I am a bit suprised that the system does not cover the role of Maha

dasa lord. Which would be the single most important change I would

experiene when Rahu MD changes to jupiter.

 

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

P.S By the same token again to my understanding the power of jupiter

for 6th and 10th is also not strong to give benefic results. I wonder

how Sujit came up with the prediction about things improving in july

of 2008 when I would be running jupiter dasa. As again I learn from

guidance rather than throwing me back to the notes. I have understand

some but need correction.
